I haved loved windchimes for most of my life and have around 50, all outside. There is always one needing repair of string or clanger. Of course, I won't know for several years, based on my life's experience, but this one has many advantages. The clanger is a high density polymer make the sound more soothing and diminishing the weather rot from those made from wood. All the other parts are powder-coated metal (high quality) and should last for years!
