Hands down THE BEST &BRIGHTEST FLASHLIGHT we've found, so we bought 3 more. Very wide swath! I LOVE THAT THE DISPLAY TELLS YOU HOW MUCH CHARGE IS LEFT (when it's on). It telescopes down to a very small circle of light if you want that. Love that it is rechargeable. These get hot to hold, but it's worth it to us to FINALLY have a SUPER BRIGHT bright flashlight! Unlike others we have tried, this does NOT have a bright light that FACES YOU as you cycle through the modes to turn it off so WE LOVE THAT. Great weight, balance and just the right size - a little smaller than standard, which is great. Fits in your hand perfectly. Holds a charge well. Modes: Super bright, bright, dimmer, strobe and SOS For strobe-sensitive people, just close your eyes past that mode when you turn it off. Very well made. Great aqua color. Handy carrying lanyard. Super value, super comfortable to hold except for the getting hot to handle thing. I guess that could be a real plus to keep your hands warm in cold weather tho!!

The battery compartment is wider than the battery. I'm presuming to accommodate the option to use 3 aaa batteries in a series connector. I wish they made a sleeve to take up.the extra space when using the 21700 but the spring connectors are tight so it doesn't rattle. Other than that everything seems good quality and bright. A bit heavy but it's all metal so that's probably a good thing for durability. Zoom adjustment slides nice too. Overall very happy with it as long as the electronics last. It has a 1 year warranty with the manufacturer so that's nice

Great light for the price! I got it on sale too! I like that it comes with a rechargeable battery and can charge from the usb port, so more more dealing with AAAs or charging on a separate charger. Also, it can charge your phone in a pinch. Powerful light! Way better than anything I've ever owned. Hopefully it holds up, but it's all metal, so I think it is good quality.

Wow. This flashlight is very bright. So many have very deceptive pictures, making it look like it turns night into day…and you get them and are seriously disappointed. Not this one. It doesn’t turn night into day, but it is the brightest flashlight I’ve ever had. If you want one that recharges and definitely lights up the area you point it at, this is a great option at a fair price. Pros: - built out of metal and feels very rugged. - seriously bright beam. - additional USB port so you can use it for a power bank for your cell phone if its battery dies while camping. - displays remaining charge % while in use. - decent size. Feels like you’re actually holding a flashlight, not a dollar store toy. - Charge lasts a decent amount of time. Cons: - (this may just be me) multi function. Don’t like it. Too many flashlights have that feature now. Not a huge issue on this unit since it defaults to steady on (so you don’t have to cycle through modes before you can actually use the flashlight). It just makes it take 5 button pushes to turn it off. Not a deal breaker, but IMO a simple on/off is better.

Customer service quickly reached out to me regarding my initial complaint. They responded by sending me a new upgraded version of the flashlight. The new flashlight works great, I use it regularly. The battery capacity has been increased by 50% and the spotlight is now round instead of square. The on/off button looks the same on the outside so I don't know if it has been improved internally, but no issues thus far. The only criticism I have is that the new battery is smaller in diameter than the original and the fitment could be improved if they provided a plastic sleeve for it to go into. The battery works fine and the spring tension holds it firmly in place, but the fit and finish that would give it five stars just isn't there yet. Their customer support is fast, friendly, informative and willing to resolve customer complaints. Original review: It's very bright. Lasts quite awhile. Been using it for months ....THEN: it's now useless because the rubber on/off button went off center and no amount of fiddling with it will fix it. The engineer who designed that mechanism should be fired. The button and the attached push rod are one piece of rubber. If you push on it, it can get stuck and even turn sideways in the hole. You can remove it but there is no way to install it so that it works correctly. Horrible design flaw.

This is the brightest flashlight I've ever owned. I like the way it adjusts the beam and lets me know how much power is remaining with a digital readout. No batteries is a plus. The heavy duty metal body makes me think it'll handle abuse. If you are tired of the cheap plastic ones, this should be given serious consideration

This flashlight slaps. It’s super bright, and durable from my experience so far. It fits easily in my pocket, and hasn’t had any issues so far in the rain. The battery life isn’t great, but for the price, I really can’t complain. I’m a courier, and this flashlight has made all the difference this winter as the sun sets earlier- especially since you can adjust the beam.

Great power. Alls good but it just stopped charging. It's only the second charge and it's stuck at 20%. I'll update this review after I talk with the service depth. I'm back! I left flashlight on for 20mins and it stayed at 20%. I then unplugged it now suddenly it's showing 7%. I'm going to contact support next. Update.. I'm having trouble getting customer support . There's only one 'fix' option and it's basic plug and unplug method which did not help. Battery stuck at 2% and still won't charge up. Not gonna give up. I paid for a chargeable flashlight d*mmit...update coming soon. Hello..me again. They got back to me with an offer I cannot refuse. No strings attached full replacement with a new flashlight while I can keep this one and throw batteries in it for the kids to use. Here's hoping I get years of use out of the one cuz it is a great flashlight. Crazy high power with two lower powers along with hazard flash options and field adjustments. Solid aluminum body. I'll post again once I get the new unit. This will be my 3rd attempt to update my review. Sooo...alls great with new light. It charges slowly but draws power slowly depending on mode selected. Works great with triple A's also

I didn’t realize that you can turn the flashlight off simply by holding down the power button, I used to get annoyed having to cycle through all the modes every time. I only found out after reading the little instruction sheet that came with it. The flashlight itself is excellent: extremely bright, with adjustable light levels so you can control exactly how much illumination you need. The build quality is outstanding, better than any other flashlight I’ve seen. My only wish is that an extra battery were included, since charging takes a while. Fortunately, it also comes with a battery holder for AA batteries, which is a great backup option. Overall, it’s a fantastic purchase!

Disappointing -- bought for a camping trip. Used once, for about 15 minutes. The flashlight suddenly shut off and was quite warm to the touch. When I unscrewed the lens and inspected, it looks like the plastic surrounding the LED had melted (!). I emailed the support contact indicated on the card and have yet to receive a response. Update - CHILDBOT responded and sent a replacement flashlight that seems to not suffer from the same overheating issue. The flashlight itself is pretty great feature-wise - good heft, the ability to use regular batteries as an alternative, and the fact that it can function as a mobile power bank make it great for camping. It is plenty bright and the ability to focus the beam is pretty neat.

Review based on first look. Nicely boxed flashlight. Comes with battery and a cable, Also comes with a 2 part battery holder for triple a batteries as an option. You can also extend the lens portion from a wide a circle of light down to a small circle of light. The light is very bright in the immediate vicinity and has no problem lighting a dark room, The battery is about half charged. I found a power bank or usb port on computer could not charge it. A good capacity wall charger was required. The battery had no nipple on the end but was marked plus and minus. Put the plus end in first.

Solid construction and very bright. Would have given it five stars but it takes so long to fully charge. The option to use regular batteries is a bonus.
