Very Secure and Insulated
This cooler was perfect for our canoe trip in Montana in June! Although it is heavier than a traditional cooler because it has very thick walls. It was secure (from mini-bears). If you use a bolt or lock, you can keep it secure from scary big bears, too! It kept the things inside from getting scorching hot throughout the week during our trip. Make sure the night before your trip, "cool" it by keeping it in an airconditioned area. I started out with a gallon bag of ice and this cooler kept my food fresh. In our week of food, I stored some fresh vegetables and hard cheeses as well as homemade trail mix with chocolate. All of it faired well. :) Good investment.

Keeps food cold for DAYS
Went on a 4 day camping trip. We were unsure of how long this would actually keep food cold for so we put in 2 large bags of ice. Came home 4 days last with just under 2 full bags of ice left. 10/10 recommend

Rubber latch broke after 5 months, 3 camping trips
Purchased July 10th and this review is written December 7. Used this cooler on two camping trips and now to store ice temporarily after my wife had surgery. Was opening the cooler and one of the rubber latches broke apart. Very disappointing. Visited the company’s support website and there is a message they cannot accept emails due to server issues but email is the only way to file warranty claims. I did leave a voicemail at the company phone number. I will update this review if the company responds. This cooler does do extremely well at maintaining a coold temp and holding ice. I put 40lbs of ice in 4 days ago and still have plenty of ice left.Update to 4 Stars: the Company contacted me by phone and shipped out a replacement latch about a week after my attempt to contact them via email. The rep said they had a server fail which put their email out of service for a few days until it could be repaired.

Great
Holds ice for days! The cooler seals really tight though so you have to unscrew the drain cap to open it sometimes!

Good value
After using cheap coolers for many years, spent the extra money on this one. I am very pleased with it. Still had some ice left after a 5 day camping trip. The weather wasn't extremely hot (average 75° F), but all in all it performed well.

Holds ice for days
The ONLY complaint is that the seal is so good it vacuum seals lid shut and it is hard to open. We learned on our road trip we just need to loosen side valve to let some air out and the lid will open. Holds ice for days!! (If you are not constantly opening it)
