Works as it should
Great little lock I'm using for keeping my outboard motor attached to my dinghy, easy to use, flexible and strong on pull, twists and yanks. I haven't tried cutting it open,. as this is a secondary lock on the outboard. seems to be of good quality and weatherproof

Perfect for my specific uses
I used this to secure my bird enclosure - fits right through the wire mesh gaps so that I can lock the door. Durable. Takes a bit of wiggling when you unlock it though, and you also have to hold the key in place while trying to loosen the cable or it'll lock again. Two copies of the key are convenient - I have one attached to my house keys, and the other at home.

2014 Harley Davidson '48
I installed a cafe seat on my Harley '48 and needed something to keep it from getting stolen and stumbled across this! Works like a charm! I just route the cable through the seat frame (underneath the seat) and then around the bike frame. My only concern is how long the lock will survive the environment near the rear wheel so I'm trying to find an all weather container for the lock housing. Otherwise it solved my problem!

Great for my outdoor gate.
I bought this to better secure my outdoor gate since my puppy got out. I did notice after a few months the weather was starting to get to it (it was difficult to unlock). I sprayed WD40 in the keyhole and where the cord locks in, and it works great again. If you're going to use it outside, I recommend checking it every other month or so. If you take care of it, it'll take care of you.

Good lock but...
Good lock, I bought it for my antique 30 cal. Winchester but the cable didn't fit through the ejection slot mechanism

Works to keep my Glock 19 compliant with the law in storage and transport. Cables are easier to remove if the keys are ever lost. Would buy again and recommend to other gun owners.
