The tap does their job so far. Bought it to re-tap the holes from my vehicle for a hitch. I could recommend to the seller that before shipping all the Tap could be hold on in their tray with just a simple tape (temporaire until receive). When I open the kit all the pièces were all over the place because they do not hold on place in their proper tray. I even tought that I had one piece missing but I found it later..... As I read in the comment prior purchasing, I thing this small correction prior shipping could protect more the Items and improve the review for the seller.

I am a cnc machinist by trade. These are the worst quality taps and dies i have ever used, the material they are made from is to soft, causing damage to the dies and taps even in mild steel. the quality of the grind is poor, and often they will not even start, it seems more common they will just strip any thread out that they manage to make. even chasing threads takes a huge amount of force. stay away

I am a machinist,and these are high quality for home and even for a business. I read the reviews and I find whining about the blow formed case very minimal reason.The readable stamped size is very comparable to all taps and dies .Even the high end MSC supplies are not any better at labeling .So get over that too. The way they ship with the taps on the bottom is the reason they fall out. When you get them reverse that and you will be happy for the rest of your days. DO NOT EXPECT THESE TO TAP STAINLESS STEEL. No taps do that very well. Tap oil is a must always. Special tap oil is required for S/S. Even aluminum require a different tap oil than mild steel. Taps break and it is mostly the users fault. If any part of this set is lacking its the handles .My experience with similar handles . The body of these can break , being cast white metal. The blow formed tool organizer, is an insert. Not the case, that is metal.

Product seems to be nice I haven't used it I just got it today only problem I've got and I think I saw it on here is they really need better packaging for all of the little pieces I do really like the metal case that's nice and I did not know it come with a whole puncher and gloves will update when I use

1) Size stamps are poorly done, some impossible to read. 2) Internal packaging inadequate...smaller pieces were scattered and very difficult to sort back into proper slots. 3)Top tray is very difficult to remove to access bottom tray.
