In my case, I sanded down the small bump at the bottom of the door panel, and after that the handle sat flush and worked great. Honestly, I like this replacement much better than the flimsy OEM handle. I’m even considering swapping out the passenger side now. Just keep in mind: if you don’t cut or sand down that little bump left from the OEM handle, this won’t fit flush. Once modified, though, it looks and feels solid. Quick delivery, great price, and I’m very happy with the result. Five stars because I knew ahead of time (thanks to reviews and YouTube videos) that a slight modification would be needed.
