Really cool crawler! Wish I bought 2 now so I can play with my son. Regardless just starting off with new rd crawlers or not, this is worth owning!

As soon as I removed it from its packaging, I was struck by the sturdy feel and the meticulous attention to detail that it had. It has a more substantial appearance as a result of the improved chassis, which really begs to be put to the test. I put it to the test, believe me! This crawler has been put through its paces on a variety of terrains, ranging from the rock garden in my backyard to the hiking trails in the neighborhood, and I am continually impressed by its capabilities. The proportionate throttle and steering, in conjunction with the four-wheel drive system, make it possible to exercise accurate control even in the most challenging of circumstances. It turned out that I had to overcome challenges that I had previously believed would be insurmountable for a vehicle of this size. The C64-1 has great flexibility as a result of this design decision, which enables it to easily navigate difficult terrain. I watched in astonishment as it crept over tiny pebbles and roots that would have caused any other remote-controlled vehicle to come to a complete halt.

really wanted to like this RC truck, but the quality is awful. Within 25 minutes of light crawling, the driveshaft popped clean out and started making a loud clicking sound (you can hear it in my attached video). The design feels cheap and poorly engineered — nothing about it feels durable or hobby-grade. I’ve owned plenty of budget RC crawlers, and this one is by far the most disappointing. Poor materials, weak components, and sloppy assembly. Save yourself the frustration and look for a better-built WPL-style truck elsewhere.

First off I finally purchased another WPL, my first one I had was about 10 years ago this one is much more set up and capable. I like the proportional steering, and throttle. It still as cheap plastic parts as it was 10 years ago, but they have improve some. The plastic parts are as followed- axles housing, drive shafts, truck bed and bumpers. The Frame is metal but if weak metal but it works nothing like traxxas or name brands, but for the price you can’t beat it. The suspension is very cheap but capable. Springs do return it to full ride height, a bit bouncy, I took care of that with some mods and added oil filled shocks, and I got some better weight tires 60mm the ones on here are about 70mm hard plastic. I tuned the suspension down a bit to give it more of a scaled look, and painted it. It came out nice, the body alone to me is wroth it. The electronics are as simple as any WPL I’m Sure if your pockets are big you can upgrade it with other parts hobby grade. But over all for the price you can’t beat it. It’s a good starter Rig. The only problem I don’t like it the binding up at full lock when you are turning its hard on the truck but you can adjust it steering on the controller so it helps.

Initially, this was a great toy to have, but it too often would break apart while in use. It had axles that can unhinging when on uneven ground or taking a crash, but it would detach way too often and was way too sensitive. Ended up returning the car because it could not handle tough terrain as expected. Still a super stylish truck and was fun when lasted. Battery life and installation were super easy and great, the only issue I had was the wheels and axle detaching when using.

Right out of the box we got it charged up and it didn't take long before my son was having a blast. This thing crawls up any obstacle and follows the remote with no delays. It is used, charged then used again....no drop in battery length. Such a fun RC truck! Couldn't get my son to drive straight to get a good video....
