I loved this placemats, purchased another set! I love its design, it gives an island vibe, it stands out on my wood table. Easy to clean, just dust off any food particles or crumbs with a wet cloth.

I like bamboo placemats, I wanted to add another design to my rotation. This set has backing material, and trim around the border, which I prefer, to avoid scratches on the table. The only thing to be aware of is that the bamboo slats are a little larger than 1/2". That took a little getting used to as my other bamboo placemats have slats that are closer to 1/4". But overall they are nice, lay flat, and sturdy.

These look very nice and are of reasonably good quality. "Stain resistant" is a stretch, oily food will leave a stain. Overall, quite happy with this purchase.

After using these attractive placemats for several weeks, they show no signs of wear and are easy to clean and store.

These are really awesome place mats. My only complaint is that they arrive folded, and it takes bloody forever for them to flatten out on the table. Otherwise, I feel that they are high-quality and have the look of that. I've found that they wipe off with a damp cloth easily. Some people complained about food and liquids dripping through the weave onto the table. My table is finished in a protective coating, so this isn't a problem for me. If you have kids--which many of us do--you might be better off with cheap vinyl place mats for every day and using these for when you're serving guests. I personally love them and do not regret the purchase. They have just the eye appeal that I was wanting. Very rich. Don't look cheap.
