Solid quality...easy setup... Looks good…Great Customer Service
Great customer service...had an issue withe the door... Immediately sent a replacement... No hassles. Durability and build quality: Reviewers frequently mention the fence's sturdy construction, which they feel is a significant upgrade from other options. Ease of setup: Many users found the fence easy to assemble, with some noting they could set it up quickly, even with multiple panels. Security: The double latches on the gate are considered very secure, preventing dogs from accidentally getting out. Versatility: The fences are popular for both home backyards and for camping with an RV, providing a safe space for dogs. Wire spacing: The narrow wire spacing is effective at keeping out smaller animals like rabbits, as well as the dogs themselves. Helpful accessories: The company offers thoughtful add-ons, such as rubber feet for indoor use and stake toppers to protect surfaces.

Most Importantly - Know that it is PERFECT!
There is nothing I dislike about this pen. I have a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel. After rupturing two disc in his back and leaving him paralyzed, 4 months apart at 2 years old we learned he has what is basically disk degeneration in people. He had surgery both times that resulted in 8 weeks of crate rest each time. Back then we had regular kennels and I'll tell you... I don't care how many doors are on those things - they are not easy to get a dog who can't walk in and out of. But we got through it. More recently Riley again hurt his back. This time it wasn't a full rupture, and didn't lead to paralyzation but did require some pretty heavy medications and another 6-8 weeks of inactivity. When it first started, he was in his crate and wouldn't come out. So I decided it was time to get something different for him. At about the same time, I decided I was done with dog beds. He needed something that was truly washable because when he can't walk, he also can't control his back end. So we grabbed him a couple crib mattresses, that would never fit in a crate and until this pen, wouldn't fit right in one of those either. I bought the 16 piece/32 inch one so I would have enough panels for both of Riley's sleeping areas, as well as two gates. One for each area. I used 8 pieces to set a pen up in our living area for him. It's set up square, and the crib mattress fits perfectly on the back side leaving room for his water bowl, food dish and a cpl cuddle toys he likes. I used 6 of the remaining pieces to create a pen for our bedroom. They fit perfectly on all 4 sides of the crib mattress in there, leaving no room around the mattress which is perfect for night time. I still have two pieces that I may or may not add to the current set up, but even if I don't - There will be times when we have it set up outside and the other two pieces will come in super handy then. So I love this thing.... I think everyone who has a dog should have one. It's sturdy and will outlast many dogs making it definitely worth the money. It shipped fast, and was delivered in perfect condition. It was easy to put together without assistance. I had both pens set up in less than 45 minutes. For real, it isn't often this super picky lady (especially when it comes to her pets) will say anything is perfect or that I can't find anything wrong with it. There's always something, right. WRONG! Any other time I would agree, but this product is truly perfect for any dog owners needs.

SO NICE, GOT IT TWICE!! (Seriously, buy it)
We love this pen and have had it for about eight months. I have two miniature dachshunds, one of whom had figured out how to jump over her previous 24” black wire Xpen (you know the ones). I leave them in an enclosed area in our apartment while we are away and to sleep at night. I have always battled with setting up one of those crappy black ones from Petsmart in a way I actually liked, and then would have to fold it in and out every time I wanted to let the girls out of their area, which was at least twice a day. Then, to get into the area with them, I’d have to straddle the pen. Well I got pregnant and pretty soon it wasn’t safe to do that anymore— So I spent the pretty penny for this bad boy and I am sooo glad I did. First and foremost, it’s taller, so no more jumping— easy fix there. Secondly, it’s made of premium materials, the coating is wipe-able and actually ceramic-like. In just a year and a half my Xpen had rust, and the connectors were all falling off. This is built with modularity in mind and I LOVE the rod system to put it together. I love that if I still feel like I need more panels, I can buy and add them. Vice versa if I decide I need to put my girls in a smaller area. No more folding up the Xpen so one side is bulky and awkward. The rubber feet on the bottom of each panel keep it from sliding around too!! (That is another complaint I had about the Xpen). It’s actually quite study, can withstand being jumped against, and the (separate) wall connectors make this pen basically permanent where you put it. As an added bonus it looks classy (at least the white one is, can’t speak for the black but I assume it’s the same). Guests have complimented this thing, and that’s perfect because I never take it down and it’s part of our home now. And the gate— having an actual door on the pen saved my life. Now I have a newborn and I am SO happy to have to straddle that damn pen. The one and ONLY gripe I have is that the door requires either two hands or, if you’re me, a hand and foot. I lift the bottom with my toes/side of my foot and the top with my hand to get in, especially because I am usually also holding baby in the other hand. I wish FXW had considered making a door adapter for one handed operation. I’m sure I can Jerry rig something in the future, but for now I’ve just suffered with it. It’s mainly just a huge pain if the door closes behind me while I am inside, then I have to bend over and open from the outside. Not super accessible but that tradeoff is worth it for me. In the end, I bought a second 8+Door set to combine with my current set for when we take a two week holiday this winter. We will be at a cabin, and I want to set up a yard for the girls to run in while I’m mildly distracted with the baby and can’t watch them as closely as I normally do. Seriously considering buying a third or some extra panels so that I have a huge area/options. To me, worth every single penny, HANDS DOWN!!! I wish I had found this BEFORE I got them as puppies, would’ve saved me money on those crappy Xpens, and a ton of headaches. (Same with those damn collapsible wire crates but that’s a different review LOL) If it’s in your cart, pull the trigger, you probably won’t regret it.

Very heavy duty - pleased with purchase
This pen has worked out fabulous after my dogs TPLO surgery. She’s a big girl and there’s enough space for her jumbo bed, water bowl and standing room for meals. She’s can easily step over the metal bar in the gate unlike many other pens that require they step over a high piece . The gate has two locks which have to be operated at the same time- I have to use my foot on the bottom one (push up with toes) and hand on top when my other hand is full but it’s fine so far. A bit more difficult to operate if I’m inside with the gate closed. It would be nice if this operation were one movement. But it does keep the gate secure- she has tried pushing against it a few times to get out and hasn’t been able to budge it. She gave up. I did not install the plastic caps on the bars because I have this on a mat (drymate also on Amazon) but they appear easy to install. It also came with an extra bar. The bars are heavy duty and would be impossible to bend. The pen itself is strong metal. But probably not strong enough if a dog is large, destructive or determined. She’s sedated so I’m not worried. I got the 40” and wish I had gone lower since it makes her want to jump up when I approach- I think if it was shorter she wouldn’t try that because she could reach me with her nose. Very happy with this purchase and glad I got it.

Glad I purchased
I really like this barrier. The material is sturdy. It is absolutely easy to set up and can be manipulated to do so many models. It definitely acts as a barrier. And the two rumbunctious rottweiler pups could not get through. The material is thick enough to be an efficient barrier, but not so much that it can't be manage by one person. It is easy to move around once you set it up and if there is a need to rearrange. It looks stylish enough to not make you ashamed to have it in your home. I got 4 panels. And it is slightly pricey - but worth it. Once the pups grow, it can be reused for other purposes. We are currently using on the indoor veranda. Once it was set, we got concerned that the pups would simply pull or push it over - regardless of the silicone based feet. So we did two things: 1) we bolstered behind it with plants stands etc and 2) we tied it to the mesh It has held well and there have been no issues. What we really liked: 1) the silicone bottoms to the panels and connecting rods 2) the design 3) ease of set up 4) no weird odours 5) knowledge that we can get other panels to extend if we so choose 6) the rounded top of the connecting rods 7) the packaging: safe, secure, smart Recommended. If the manufacturers could find a way to have a bit more stability for playful pups, that would be great. BUT there are ways around that as I have said.

Great pen for a golden retriever, Works well, easy to assemble.
This has worked out very well for my golden retriever from age 2 months to 9 months. It was easy to assemble and the sections can be oriented in many ways as the hinges are flexible for over 180 degrees. But for a big dog that jumps up and rests paws on the top it can skew the cage out of the original configuration. Nevertheless it works well and the double latch keeps the dog inside. I have the 3x3x3x3 panels in a square configuration which is roughly 7x7 feet. My dog seems to prefer sleeping in the pen even when we leave it open for him to roam. Not sure I would call it heavy duty but it is perfectly adequate.. I personally would not use it outside, at least in Florida as I I think it would rust. I would buy this again.

Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, and Perfect for a New Fur Baby!
I ordered this playpen on Prime Day after we decided to welcome a new fur baby into our home, and I’m so glad I did. The box it arrived in was quite heavy, but everything was well-packed and easy to manage — I simply opened it by the front door and carried each panel to the living room where I planned to set it up. Assembly was simple and surprisingly quick. I really appreciated that it came with gloves, which made putting it together even easier and more comfortable. The panels connect securely, and I love that it can be arranged in different configurations depending on the space. I’ll likely stick with the rectangular setup, but the flexibility is a nice bonus. Even though our new puppy hasn’t come home yet, the playpen feels very sturdy and stable. I’m confident it will provide a safe, enclosed space for her to relax and play when we can’t have eyes on her 100% of the time. This playpen exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and ease of assembly. A great purchase for anyone bringing home a new pet!

Easy assembly, well made, very sturdy
Excellent quality. Unfortunately I ordered the incorrect size an my 9 week old toy poodle was climbing out of the 24 inch tall play pen. The pen itself is very sturdy and super easy to assemble. Will be reordering the taller one.
