Glow-from-within vibes activated!
I added Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides to my morning routine and wow — skin feels softer, hair looks healthier, and my nails finally stopped breaking every other week. Easy to mix, no weird taste, and it makes hydration feel fancy. Total win! 💁♀️☕💕

Great stuff!
I used to be a loyal fan of SkinnyFit, another brand of collagen that used hyaluronic acid for skin but I had to stop because it became far too expensive for me. Bought this Vital Proteins skin complex about a week ago and I can see a dramatic improvement in my skin as far as texture, clarity, brightness in that short time! It mixes into my hot coffee seamlessly. It has NO flavor and doesn’t change the taste of my coffee at all, whatsoever. I just wish the tubs weren’t so small, but I’ll definitely keep buying this!

My favorite collagen!
I’ve ordered Vital Proteins peptides quite a few times and it never disappoints. It is perfect in morning coffee. It doesn’t clump when mixing and is makes a smooth drink. I’ve noticed that my nails are a lot stronger since I’ve been drinking this. I will continue to order and I love the quality. The price is also good because it’s the same as what you would pay at Target or Walmart. Will continue to order!

So far..meh…
I have given this 4 stars because it’s too soon to tell what the product efficacy is. I am new to the collagen game. Previously I used Sparkle collagen powder based off the Budget Dems recommendations. I found this had the same level of Verisol collagen while also adding 18 grams more collagen protein per serving. It was a Prime day deal and decided to try it. I didn’t notice much improvement in Skin, hair, nails, etc. using the Sparkle powder-albeit I only used it for one container (one month) which also prompted me to try another brand. I have used this thus far in cold and hot liquid. It does not mix the best in either. Hot liquid is better but the cold liquid is pretty difficult to get it to dissolve. The powder stays clumped some even with consistent stirring and graduated powder adding. The flavor may be “unflavored” but it isn’t undetectable either. It isn’t a poor taste but noticeable. I’m assuming the suggested serving size of 3.5 tablespoons spoons is contributing to dissolving issues and affecting taste. It isn’t a deal breaker, especially if results are seen it would be more than worth it but it’s not unnoticeable. Also the serving size suggests 8 ounces of liquid. I find that is not enough to dilute the taste so I use 12oz. I assume it’s not changing the efficacy since I’m still ingesting the same amount per day…I think I will try using one table spoon three times a day and split up the portions to see if that helps with dissolving and detection of taste. Many of you more seasoned collagen users might have cracked the code I’m still struggling to find…if so please share. I will update review as new information-especially considering results-becomes available…

Love VP but On The Fence about this one.
I have used Vital Proteins daily since 2021, after recovering from a serious shattered ankle injury. It helps extremely for joint pain and stiffness in that ankle. I have only gone without VP a few times since for short periods for reasons like being on antibiotics having Dr's orders to discontinue supplements during that time. Within days of stopping VP the pain and stiffness will come back and once back on my VP routine within days the pain and stiffness will lighten back up to almost gone again. I totally believe in this product. It not only helps with my ankle but my hair and nails won't stop growing. I started with mid-back length hair and quickly within the first year of taking this daily my hair had grown (and I have kept it) to past my tailbone. I trim 4ish inches off every 6 months or so and it quickly grows right back, happy and healthy. I didn't have wrinkles when I started taking VP at the age of 50 and I still don't at 53. A year or so ago VP had discontinued my favorite, their Morning Get Up and Glow (that I took daily faithfully along with their Blue container of Advanced Collagen peptides) and I have been struggling to find a replacement since. This one, their Skin Complex, has a few of the same ingredients I loved about mine that was discontinued. I'm only thru half of my first container so far (daily mixing it with the Blue Advanced Collagen Peptides). I know that it's doing something because my hair has become oily in the last 2 wks after many years of it being dry. Oily hair was not an issue with the Morning Get Up and Glow. I will continue to use this for another container or 2 to see if I notice anything else other than oily hair. If no obvious pro's turn up, I will continue on my journey to find something more comparable to my Morning Get Up and Glow that I just loved.

Good not great
I've been taking Vital Proteins collagen products for over a year now. Normally I take the regular blue container but switched to the skin complex two months ago for the added "benefits" for the skin. Overall an ok product but I'm not sure I've seen considerable difference between before and after a year. The only thing I think did improve was the quality and texture of my hair and for that reason I keep taking it because it cant hurt right? As far as the skin and wrinkles are concerned though how much can you really expect from a few tablespoons a day. I'll say its nearly flavorless but there is definitely a bone broth type smell to it that can be difficult at first to get past. The price per volume of the regular blue vital proteins is much better than the skin complex version. Also the skin complex version has an oily consistency that doesn't exactly dissolve and likes to sit on top of warm beverages. Although that does give you proof that it has different ingredients than the regular version because the regular one dissolves completely.
