Not obnoxious but effective door alarm
Got this door alarm to alert me that door is open, originally for preventing dog from escaping. Alarm goes off after door open for a few seconds. It is not an obnoxious sound but is a persistent sound alert. Easy to install, sticks with included mastic tape. Can be made inactive easily using the switch.

Does exactly what it's meant to
Bought this for a baby gate that kept getting left open. It works so well, I love the different settings. The adhesive worked fine for me, and it's easy to mount basically anywhere. Well worth the money

Great product
Update: itās November 14 and the sensor has fallen off the door. I donāt know where it is because my husband probably put it somewhere. I have sent an email to the company to see if I could get a replacement for it and I will let you know what they say. Iām just wanting a sensor and the sticky part. My husband may have taken it off the door I donāt know. My husband has the beginnings of dementia so he never remembers to shut the door to the front of the house. The store alarm is excellent. It has worked every single time. There are so many settings that when he gets used to one sound, I can change it to another sound that gets his attention better. It works even if itās not exactly lined up because of the door frame. Itās a great product and Iām definitely gonna buy another one for the back door.

Loud, not fit for my purpose
Works as described, however I was hoping for something to use on our gate to alert us if it was left open, this is not exactly what I was looking for and ultimately ended up returning it. Loud.

Helpful for Peace of Mind, but the Noise Gets Old Fast
I bought this to keep my French door fully shut because it sometimes drifts open, and Iāve got a new kitten who is both sneaky and incredibly fast. The alarm definitely does its job- havenāt had a single accidental escape since installing it, and the setup was straightforward. I wish it came with a more secure method of attachment, but the adhesive is strong enough. Itās affordable which is a plus. After a few days, though, Iāve realized the alarm more annoying than expected, especially when the door doesnāt close perfectly on the first try. Itās useful and does what it promises, but the sound design could be a lot more pleasant. Three stars for function over comfort.

Thanks, I needed that! In fact, I discovered that I need three of them!
Yes, thanks, I needed that! And, yes, in fact, I discovered that I did need three of them! I needed two for my refrigerator in the kitchen and one on my upright freezer in the garage. My refrigerator has French doors with a bottom freezer drawer, so I needed one alarm for the frig doors (it's so easy for me to inadvertently leave one door slightly ajar that it has happened about once a month) and one for the freezer drawer. I initially ordered one of these for my frig and a different Friggi alarm for my freezer (FRIDGGI - Freezer Door Alarm with Delay When Left Open, 60sec, 120sec, 180sec Reminders, Refrigerator and Fridge Door Alarm or Chime, Low/Loud 80dB to 110dB). I'm not totally satisfied with the one I ordered for my freezer (it's not loud enough to hear inside the house, and it takes too long until it alarms) so I've ordered a second one for the upright, one of this type to add to the first. I'm leaving the first one on because it has a different low beeping sound every 10 seconds as a reminder, so I want both alarms on the upright freezer because both serve a different purpose, at least for me. The door to the upright is critical with a lot of 'money' at risk inside if the frozen food were to thaw! I have my current unit on the frig French doors set to Mode C - Alert after 30 seconds, a reminder every 20s, auto stop after 60min or door closed - so it alerts at the 30 second point which is quite short because one often needs more than 30 seconds to decide, but I find it to be a helpful reminder, so I NEVER screw up now! When my two new units arrive, I will set the garage's upright freezer alarm on Mode B - Alert after 10 seconds, a reminder every 15s, auto stop after 30min or door closed - because I want that freezer door shut ASAP (because the cold air empties immediately on an upright freezer unit as compared to a chest freezer or a freezer drawer). I'll set the new alarm for the frig freezer drawer to Mode D - Alert after 60 seconds, a reminder every 30s, auto stop after 120min or door closed - because I often need more time looking inside this drawer and time is not of the essence in a drawer as compared to an upright freezer. Installation was a snap! I left the garage upright door open once and everything thawed out. Refreezing resulted in frozen lumps and a disaster. These alarms are a critical reminder as we too often are in a rush and can easily not quite get a door fully closed --- and may not discover it for hours.

The kids close the door now
My kids will literally never shut the dang doors and so itās cold outside and our thermostat is near the door and then our heat wants to run all the time making the rest of the house really hot. This has saved me so much money. I will say that itās pretty annoying. Having these things go off all the time, but the kids are all running back to close the doors now

Never forget an open door again!
Bought this after a heartbreaking tragedy where we lost two of our Bulldogs to heat last summer. I have it set to alert after the door has been open for 5 minutes. We've used it throughout HOT and humid Alabama spring and summer so far, with zero problems. It functions as stated, loud enough to hear throughout house, doesn't quickly drain batteries, adhesive is still holding strong, and was super easy install/setup. Happy to say that we have not had a tragic repeat of last summer!

Very easy to install. It has different timer options and very loud alarm can hear it from across the house if door is left open. Life saver if you have kids!

Finalmente il freezer non rimane più aperto accidentalmente facendo scongelare tutto. Messo timer 1 minuto e poi inizia a suonare. Soddisfatta.

I have my freezer in a closet and I am constantly forgetting to close the lid. This has saved me hundreds of dollars in food already. It has great options if you like to dig through the freezer you can set the timer longer so you dont have it going off all the time and you can even change the sound. Was very easy to install following the instructions.
