TCL Linkzone 5G UW (MW513U) | Verizon and GSM Unlocked | 5G MiFi Hotspot Router | Black

This device is a cellular device that transmits wifi. It handles 4g and works well with Verizon to stream data movies and any thing you can think of. I looked at other companies that want you to use a phone as a router. Problem here is your phone heats up and can cause damage to it. This unit just hums along hour after hour and does not over heat. Last note is it runs at 4g which is good enough for video. Most phone plans will throttle down your data after using 5gbs of data. This does not support video well. Good luck as I have only seen a few models that can do this, and being unlocked gives you the ability to try different carriers.

It took me a few days to figure out but once you do it works GREAT! Arrived brand new, the same item Verizon sells for $299.00 You have 2 choices, buy a Verizon Hotspot monthly plan (expensive) or US Mobile Warp sim card.(Dark sim card not compatible) US Mobile sells a sim card on Amazon for $3.99. When you get the US Mobile sim card insert it when the unit is off. Power it up and follow the instructions. Go to US Mobile and pick a prepaid data plan. Once you buy a plan, go to chat and provide sim card number and you IMEI number and you will have service within 5 minutes.

This seemed like a solld buy at first for compact 5G option to upgrade old vzw hotspot. Popped sim in, and immediately was able to connect to it and had decent and easy to use configuration options and also appreciated built in ethernet jack. Speeds seemed fine and thought it was ok quality. However, after only a couple weeks of lite use, we took it on road trip for holidays and suddenly after more then 2 people connected to it, would start rebooting within seconds of firing up. Basically unusable. Battery was fully charged, so not sure what to think about it. Unfortunately, had to send it back as anything that is that unreliable that quickly can't be trusted and moved on to alternative options.

After a visit to the local Verizon Store for a new hotspot, where I was charged $300+tax and a set up fee for the sim chip etc. This TCL Linkzone 5G is exactly the same device!!!! So I returned the overpriced hotspot to the Verizon store, but of course saved the sim chip they charged me $40 to activate. This is working smoothly and connects to more than one device for me

Charge and hold up for 24 48 hours. Connect to 5 g. Speed depends upon your provider.

I like it, the performance is evident, I used to download files to 20 Mb, and now with the link zone to 40 Mb in 4g, 5g bands in latam for this device, don't work..! But 4g is really good. I'm waiting for 5g devices global for latam, please TCL, let me know as soon as you begin to sell them in Amazon. Thanks in advance.

Great price, much less expensive than the exact item from Verizon Mine included the SIM card Highly recommended
