Excellent stain. It does indeed waterproof. Rain beads up as expected. The stain penetrates the fence rails and post really well; enven the planed sides. Where the sides of rails are rough sawn it penetrates even more deeply and easily as one would expect. Dries really quickly. The colour is really nice and very close to the photos you see. Remember though it is a stain and not a paint so you will see variations in colour. The variation in colour is related to the wood itself and the surface condition of the wood whether planed or rough sawn. I have some really large post on all of my gates which are very smooth planed and the stain pentrated really well on them. Coverage was better than expected. Coverage: Four foot high fence, five rails, about twenty (20) metres or so in total, plus a four (4) foot wide x six (6) foot high gate. Five (5) litres coverd both sides of the fence including about 8 post at 4 feet plus a bit high. More fence to paint. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy and Economical *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 November 2024* New shed 5ft x 7ft, two coats one day apart on not a very nice day. Dried perfectly no change to original colour lovely waterproof finish. Shook it up well put small amount in open container and used a 3 inch brush. Started at top and worked down, no need to put loads on soaks in immediately and covers brilliantly.I did use a mask as there is some vapour from the liquid but no where as bad as some reviews state. Does not stain surrounding area if you have any drips, just wiped with dry cloth, used cardboard to cover ground but no need really if you don't go mad.Best wood preservative have ever used for coverage , ease of use, and being economical. Would purchase again without a doubt no looking for anything better because I don't think you would find anything.Gave shed two coats outside and door inside and out, enough leftover to do the same again, used less than half of the contents really amazing, you will not be disappointed.I do not usually go to this length with reviews this is a one off even uploaded a picture to show finished product. This is with two coats and the colour is exactly as if you had left it without using preservative, unbelievable but true, give it a go you wont be sorry. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pricey but very good and I love this colour *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 31 May 2024* Ok, this is quite pricey but it does do a good job. I use it on my shed (smooth wood) and fences (rough wood) and it covers well and I love this colour.
