The small is super small. I would size up.

The measurements for the leg are appropriate per the size chart, but the band that goes around the dog’s body is comically small in comparison.I have an underweight senior dog who is shaped like a Sheltie. The XS fit her leg perfectly (anything bigger would have been too big), however the body strap wouldn’t reach halfway around her tiny waist. Returned immediately

Seems sturdy, when measuring our dog's leg we ended up with a larger size (medium) because it was within the parameters of the chart,Instead of sending it back for a refund which would have been a hassle to clean the hair off now, we just reordered the next size down, the only complaint we have is that it covers his pecker no matter how we try to wrap it.We will post a review on the smaller sized one.

I will say the medium part for the leg of a bulldog is perfect but the strap is too small. So I cut a large strap and sewed it on the medium. But the actual splint itself fits so much better then a large. Her measurements show a large but its too long and a medium , the strap is too tight. Love the splint better though. Very sturdy and fiona is more comfy in it

I had to return this item, only because my dog was terrified for me to put it on him. So I had to return it, unfortunately. During the time I did have it it was wonderful, but like I said, he was just afraid of it.

I returned this item because I did not like the way it fit my dog. The abdominal strap went right over his penis and I could not maneuver in any way to make it more comfortable for him. I understand the need for the strap, but I think it needs to be better thought out.

Received my knee brace for my 10 month old pup. It looks good but was covered in dog hair. It appears to have been used. Just took it out of package with what appears to be short haired dog hair.

I had an older dog that developed cancer and it had spread into one of her rear legs. She was having trouble walking so I purchased this item to help her walk but I put it on her and she refused to stand so I took it off and never really got any use out of it. It does seem well made for the purpose and I believe that would work well for leg injuries.
