This seems to be an excellent product, very sturdy and well constructed. My husband hasn't let me lift him with it yet, but tested it out on my sister and it worked fine. I needed help with the assembly, wasn't able to do it alone. And it might be a little heavy to fold and transport by myself. Altogether I'm very pleased with it.

If it's expensive, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER!!!!! They say you can return an item, however, if it's expensive and heavy, they LATER tell you item is not eligible for free return, then they offer all sorts of 'solutions' that do not work. After saving money to buy a 'portable' patient lift for my mother, turns out it wasn't portable at all. Extremely heavy even when trying to separate into two parts. One person cannot do it alone. Battery button would not dislodge battery from holder either and that was the only problem they wanted to tackle 'dear'. No dear, I need a lift that is actually appropriate to description. Now I'm stuck with this massive apparatus that seller will not take back asking me to pay shipping to return which runs me over $500 ground shipping. No thank you. DO NOT purchase expensive stuff from them, you will be stuck, now we can't afford another lift unfortunately. Inhumane ! Oh and the original shipment was not packaged properly either.

iT GIVES ME PIEACE OF MIND WHEN USING IT ! SMOOTH LIFT ACBODYTION AND VERY STURDY ! I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ANY BODY DISABLED!!!!!

I put it together except putting the controls box on. It was extremely hard to separate the battery from the box, which you must do to attach the box to the rest of the apparatus. I had to recruit two young strong men to do it. Secondly, the pictures showing the slings were way too small to help or be able to tell which sling was which. My husband had a visiting physical therapist who helped me with. Then only to find out it was not wide enough to pick him up off of his recliner. Read specs very carefully before spending all this money!

Lift does the work, but it is not for us. I tried to return the item to the seller, but honestly could not afford the shipping. Please read thoroughly before making this purchase. Make sure that you are buying from Amazon and not a third party. The lift does not roll well on carpet. Very hard to cross thresholds.
