Tastes Like Real Birthday Cake!
This birthday cake protein bar is a total winner! It actually tastes like cake, not just a bland protein snack. It satisfies my sweet cravings while keeping the fat low, making it the perfect guilt-free treat. The texture is great, the flavor is spot on, and the price makes it even better. Definitely my go-to for a sweet protein fix!

Nice idea, shame about the taste
The idea of a high protein bar with low sugar is appealing, but when the sugar is mostly replaced with sweetener, it doesn't work so well. These taste very sweet indeed, to the point of being a bit sickly. It took me a couple of hours to finish one, so I can't think how long a whole box will take. The texture in the mouth is odd - almost slimy in a way. They don't feel dry, but they sure don't feel moist either. It's a very difficult experience to describe. As a quick pick me up to shove in your pocket, then sure they kind of do the job and without all the sugar of most of these kinds of bars. But I just struggle with the taste and texture. On the plus side, they're surprisingly cheap. Less than a pound a bar, is pretty good value. And they'll certainly last you a long time...

Cost v taste v protein amount
They cost £1 (at the price I bought them for a 12 pack) Grenade cost £1.50 a bar currently on Amazon)They taste fine. Yes sweet (a slight clue in the name btw - Birthday cake!) But perfectly edible.20.5g of protein per bar. Can’t go wrong. If customers are looking solely for taste buy a chocolate bar. If you’re looking for a relatively cheap high protein snack that tastes fine, you can’t go wrong with these. Or spend an extra 50p each time you have a bar and buy grenade bars.

Protein bars
These tasted great. I really enjoyed them and would happily recommend to others. Low calories but high protein 💪🏽

Unpleasant
Not a nice flavour or texture

Feel very low quality. Nasty taste and appearance.
Weird appearance, slightly grey. The hundreds and thousands had all disintegrated and the flavour was incredibly sweet and sickly. I couldn’t finish them, I threw the majority of the box in the bin. Would not recommend. The recipe needs serious improvement.

Taste and value
Anyone knocking these bars need to think again about it. For the price and quantity of protein it’s actually rather good. Try it, it’s cheap-does the job too!

Very tasty - Birthday cake protein bars!
The birthday cake bars arrive well packaged and very nicely presented in a retail display type box, which makes them perfect to store and dispense them from too! They have a good level of protein with a low-calorie count. The flavour and texture, for me, was fantastic! Definitely great if you have a sweet tooth and found it hard to refrain from wanting more than I should. Can be a bit sticky and messy, especially in warm weather!Overall, one of the top tasting protein bars I've had at a fair price that would make for a good snack during the day - Recommended!
