The little straps that are supposed to hold a bag liner are on the inside and the loops are too large. So if you use the straps and use a grocery bag to line it, you cannot wrap it over the edge like a traditional trash can (to protect the edge) and even if you don't care about wrapping it over edge, due to the length of the strap-loops, the top of the liner bag will be at least 1-3 inches below the top of the trash bag (depending on the size of the handles on the grocery bag), leaving it exposed to all the nastiness the liner is supposed to protect it from. :/ Other than this minor issue (I just ignore the straps and wrap the grocery bag over the edge), I only noticed that the velcro doesn't really hold it closed, but I don't really care about that anyway.The size is perfect for my purposes. I have a Sienna Minivan and 3 young boys who create a ton of trash while traveling. This bag will take about 2 - 4 days of local trips for us to fill. We're going on a roadtrip soon, though, so I'm probably going to buy another one. Right now this one hangs from the back of the adult passenger seat which is positioned for a tall person and my 3yr has his car seat right behind that, but because this is so skinny, it doesn't hinder my older two from climbing in and getting to their seats in back. AKA No flow of traffic problems. :) Hope that helps someone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Size and Doubles as a wine carrier *by P***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 8, 2013* I needed something to keep my car clean. I am on the road a lot and am used to just throwing my trash on the floor of the passenger side. This bag was easy to install by just wrapping the straps around the headrest , there is also a strap hanging from the bottom with a hook on it, presumably to attach to underneath side of the seat to keep the bag from flopping around. Some instructions would help. The inside is lined with vinyl so it is easy to clean but I put a plastic bag inside to avoid having to do that.The size is good , not too big not too small. It also can double as a wine carrier. You can fit two bottles in it. You might want to put something between the bottles though to keep them from clanking around.Now I just have to get into the habit of throwing stuff in there instead of on the floor, Old habits die hard.Good product, I recommend for any "Road Warrior" or anyone else that just wants to keep their car clean and not have an ugly shopping bag hanging around. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice quality, good size *by W***3 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 28, 2014* I've been looking for awhile for a trash bag for the car. My usual plastic grocery bag hooked over the corner of the glove compartment wasn't working well with the new car. Unlike a couple others I tried that were so small as to be useless, this bag is a good size and very nice quality and it hangs nicely on the back on the passenger seat. My only complaint, as others have noted, is that the plastic grocery bag I line the bag with doesn't stay put very well. I hold it in place with a binder clip on each of the the long sides. It's also not terribly convenient reaching around to the back of the passenger seat, but that's not the bag's fault. Generally, I applaud the designers for putting some thought into the design. Final thing, it would be very useful if the bag came with some instructions, even just a drawing of how it is supposed to be installed.
