Can you see what has been removed?

First time bubbles came out. Not doing anymore. Does that mean that its not working?

It also happens to me. So I can tell you something that might help you… First, it depends on what you’re washing If you are using it for really messy things like chicken thighs with skins and bones…sometimes, the gunk starts being stuck inside of meshes of the top parts! I thought the same way you wondered once, so I opened the top part, and I found out bubbles couldn’t come out because the gunk had stuck in it. It’s fine, it’ll keep working if you wash it under the shower… If it still doesn’t work after that…? It might be defective item. Talk to the Amazon customer service and try to get the refund 😉 Actually, this is my second one The previous one was just like yours, and I tried everything I could, but it didn’t work after only used that twice…I got a refund! This company, “Fabenix” With their product, I haven’t had any problems so far!! I hope I could help you to decide what you want. Good luck!!😉
