Good leaf litter
These really made my snail feel more comfortable on the floor of its tank. Good quality and quantity. Some leaves were a little sharp, but not many in my bag, and I just kinda crushed those edges and they were fine to use.

Smells a little weird but not too weird
Smells a little weird but it’s not too weird. Differing sizes of leaves helped get in the little nooks and crannies in my tank

Great product
These were perfect for my box turtles enclosure. They lasted a very long time.

Still works
Didn't look like oak...but they were small and work well for dart frogs

Do Not Buy! Not Safe!
DO NOT BUY!!! I wish I’d read the more recent reviews instead of just looking at the total stars because you cannot use this for your pets! The smell was horrible. The water turned dark brown when washing them and there’s also tons of these spikey leaves that aren’t safe for a human, much less a frog!

Plenty of Leaves
Perfect for isopods. Plenty of leafs to go around for leaf litter—way more than you'd think. Well worth it for the price and the isopods have been loving it.

Just leaves
Leaves were ok, but there was alot of leaves with very spiky ends(spike)

Meh
Lots of sharp leaves so I have to sort through and cut the points off so it doesn’t hurt my frog

Not sharp at all, please don’t forget to get the leaf litter misted before complaining about one leaf being too sharp. My snake loved them immediately, I was at first skeptical because out boa didn’t used to have leaf litter but it’s her new favourite part of her enclosure, I see her out more now! After spraying with a little water they expanded and some leaves have been reviewed as sharp but it’s not bad and it’s only a few of the leaves, they’re just fine for all reptiles i’m sure.

I can't even imagine how someone would advertise these leaves for a Frog... I have a poison dart frog, the leaves arrived with SPIKES on the edges.. These spikes are sufficient enough to CUT my frog, and potentially cause an infection. This would 99% of the time result in my $250 frog to die from infection. These leaves are fine for isopods.. they will just eat them.. but for a SNAKE or a FROG. NO NO NO.

Half the bag has leaves with sharp needles that broke my skin while I was taking them out and sorting them, so not recommended for any animals with skin I guess.
