This dock works great and looks great, too. Matches the macbook look well, and fits nicely.In my case, it works perfectly for my needs. The power delivery allows me to have my charger plugged into the dock, and the dock passes power through to my computer just fine - not all docks I've used do this. One less thing to fiddle with, which is nice!My displayport on my monitor is already used up, so for me it's fine that this is HDMI only, and no DP, but that's something you should look at before you buy! HDMI is perfectly fine and suitable for a 4k/60 resolution, so it's not really like one is "better" these days.I love that the dock is detachable, too. If I wanted to, I could take it to work or some other workstation in my house without carrying the whole stand. I may well use this feature occasionally, so it's nice to have!Lastly, I like the swivel functionality. Having the stand be able to swivel and adjust easily is actually helpful when I'm messing around with music or some other sort of project where I'm wanting to re-orient the laptop screen alongside my main screen!I'd gladly recommend this to anyone who wants both a nice adjustable stand and a dock - having them both in one (but usable separately if you want/need) is super handy!

The docking station HDMI connection completely failed and the power connect is intermittent after about 7 months. Connecting to the ""7X24 Support" does not appear to be simple from the U.S. I submitted a message via the support page of their web site and no respponse so far. It gets 2 stars becaue the laptop stand is well made and works fine, and the idea of the integrated yet removeable docking station is a good design idea, assuming the electronics are quality and actually work. I bought this specifically for the combination.UPDATE: Customer service made direct contact and sent a full replacement unit. They were professional and prompt. Moved it back up to four stars.

This was my favorite laptop stand and worked well for 5 months, until the usb port completely stopped working. Now Im stuck with a very expensive stand.Update: Customer Service reached out to me directly to fix the issue. They were extremely responsive and I have my favorite laptop stand back!

Updated: first dock had an issue with the USB-C power connection. Emailed customer service and they shipped a whole new dock with the connector. Everything is now working perfectly. Plenty of options for connecting monitors, external drives, mouse & keyboard, etc. Tons of height options and angles as well as rotates. Quality framework.

Make sure to use the supplied USC-C cable. Without that, the HDMI port won't work for a MacBook Pro. The other ports work great with cheap cables. The stand can be very tall, which is awesome. The stand is not completely stable, but it's better than other stands.

I can easily switch between my personal laptop (Macbook Air) and my work laptop (HP ZBook). My monitor, mouse, keyboard, and headset are plugged in to the hub. I don't use the PD port. As other reviews mentioned, the folding mechanisms are stiff, but rotation is very nice and easy. My Hp ZBook has a big beveled edge at the bottom, which is not a great match for the stand's bottom lip. I fold the bottom lip towards the bottom of the HP ZBook to hold it.

I’ve had this for a few months. Continuously randomly disconnects my monitors and the charging port does not support my cord and laptop/doesn’t work for me. It’s nice but definitely not worth the $72 I paid. Maybe $40. Works great as a stand though.

AMENDED REVIEW: After a bit of troubleshooting, I figured out that the usb-c cable included was not sufficient to provide power to the dock. I swapped out the cable with one I have at home and the dock works! I hope it lasts because I really do like the stand. Finger crossed...Wish I would have heeded warnings from some of the reviews. I love the stand itself. Extremely sturdy, built well. Unfortunately, the power dock does not work at all. I'll have to return :(
