Come over, Red Rover!
If you're looking for a temp burgundy auburn hair color, this is the one! It's easy to apply, looks beautiful, and covered grey when I paired it with a brunette Madison Reed color. Hair comes out shinier and more conditioned. Recommended!

Nice hair coloring
I particularly enjoyed the color, not what I expected, I was waiting for something more orange, but still beautiful color. My hair naturally is a cooper blond, this one makes my hair more red than copper, and left it a little bit darker. It add a good moisture to my hair, no damage at all. I was worried that one box wouldn't be enough for covering my hair, since I have a lot, but it was the perfect amount. The only down side, I don’t think it will stay for so long, I feel that it will fade away soon. I can comeback with some updates in the next weeks.

Meh
You’ve been warned. If you have dry or porous hair. Do not use this. It’s not gonna wash out. Demi permanent? Idt so. I’ve used a color remover and it’s still not coming out and I’ve washed at least 25 times. Its a beautiful color but it’s sooo not rose gold. It’s more of a dusty rose or a mauve.

Great Product!
I love this product! I am glad to have a way to color my hair without permanent commitment. Does not cover gray as well as permanent, but I am happy with the results! The product does have a earthy smell once applied. Comes with gloves, hair cap, and wet wipe. Shampoo and conditioner smell wonderful. Scent reminds me of a light pine smell, very pleasing.

Rich Purple Tone that Covers Grays
Even though semis are preferred to demis for gray coverage and have a greater color range, I prefer to use demis because they’re gentler and won’t require stripping if I decide to get my hair dyed at a salon. Madison Reed is the only brand I could find with a purple demi, Plum and Then Some, and it looks great. I was able to get it cover my grays (see end of review for process). The dye starts off almost black, but after a few washes, the purple starts to show vividly, especially in the sun. My only knock is that my hair has been transferring color to towels and pillows even after several washes. Oxiclean handles it fine, but I haven’t had this issue with another demi dye. BTW - To get demi dyes to stick to gray hair, I wash my hair first with a clarifying shampoo to remove buildup. Then I gently dry and straighten (with no heat protectant) to make application easier. During application, I use as much of the bottle as I can and let it sit for over 30 minutes. Then I rinse with cold water and follow up with the packaged conditioner.

Great color, but....
Amazing color! But, when does it stop bleeding? I have washed my hair over 15 times now and color still bleeds every time my hair gets wet. I have used other demi-permanent reds and have never had them bleed like this. Is this just something I have to live with now, until the color washes out? Jump in the lake and have red streams of water coming from my hair? Also, the smell... The permanent MR color I have used, the fragrance washes out after the first wash, but this one, it still smells after 15 washes, especially when heated. While the color is fabulous, the bleeding and lingering smell is enough for me to stop using this product.
