I still think the price is pretty ridiculous, but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for. Even as someone who only occasionally does live-sound and recording, it's worth it to run all Mogami cables inside the rack to save you headache of wasting valuable time troubleshooting game-time. On my last live-event (my own wedding) it was a 5 minute job of replacing a faulty 10ft xlr to a speaker vs. the previous 1+ hour of reaching into the back of the rack and plugging/unplugging to find out which run was causing a problem. I probably won't buy anymore Mogami cables in the short-term as I've got all I need, and these things are so high-quality, I expect them to last forever, but I definitely won't stop recommending them to friends and bandmates.
