Samsung Guru music 2 is worth buy for may be your father/mother/grandpa/grandma.... Here this phone is for my father and he is happy with it. But my opinion is Samsung done some good jobs with some bad things. Here time is for review with detailed pros and cons👍. "Pros" :) 1. Battery life given 800 mah is good. Lasts 6-7 days with minimal usage,(although depends on network condition varies place to place)but try to keep charging, dont let your battery down. 2. Bundled Headset quality is good quality which is main plus point for this phone in this price range. 3. Charger given is 3.5W (5V-0.7A) micro usb, which is good.(but I heard charger bundled by samsung do not last long. In my opinion u can use another any charger (redmi, )ONLY WITH RATED 5 Volt, dont matter how many amps cause modern phone has over-charging ckt.) 4. Sound quality is good, hearable b/w 2to 5 meters. "Cons" :/ 1. Battery is 800 mah, BUT COULD 1000-1200 Mah. Oh c'mon Sam you charge 1700-1800 for this low mah? 2. Music playback is dissatisfying , cause when you playing music you’ve to stay there at music section, if u exit music will stop playin. 3. Right-left, call recieve(green) button, call hang (red) button IS NOT BACKLIT. You should have add this Sam. 4. No shortcut for 'Silent' your phone, which basic Guru fm radio phone has. 5. Music phone has no BLUETOOTH. Its a dumb idea to ditch BT🤒😫😠. So, this is a review for this Samsung guru music 2. TQ.

I wanted to buy a basic model phone with JUST calling feature & no show-shaw. And that was for my mom and I found this wonderful piece. I used to prefer Nokia for basic model phones, as they are robust in nature and did purchase Nokia 220 earlier for my grandmother. The phone was good enough but the voice clarity was not up to the mark having spent 2500/- :( So I did more research this time and found this "little" black beauty ! Its sooo small and lightweight that it feels like there is no battery in it. But it is lighter even with battery (removable) in it. The call clarity is CRYSTAL clear ! And moreover, the phone keypad has back-light, that makes numbers/alphabets on it to glow in dark (see image attached). This feature really helps to make calls even during dark without any difficulty. An alarm is another feature, that I wanted so that I can set reminders for my mom to take her medicines on time :) (this basic function is anyway available in all mobiles these days). And most importantly guyz, the 'Quick call feature' is very much useful. Excluding #1, you can assign one phone number per digit starting from #2 to #9 on this mobile. So, when a specific digit is long pressed, an outgoing call gets initiated to the phone number which you assign to that particular digit (so there is no need to type the number or go through phone book to search for contact) This is helpful for frequently used phone number like family members contacts. Built-in torch is a bonus but don't expect much from it, its brighter not brightest, after all no phone is 100% perfect and this one is nearly 100% perfect. Overall, if you are looking for a phone with just calling and messaging features and NO MP3, Radio,dual sim etc, then go for this before it goes out of stock.

I bought this phone for my sister. I purchased it for Rs. 1625. This is a very good phone. Pros- 1. Excellent build. Extremely comfortable in hand. 2. The looks are also good. 3. The material used is also good. 4. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack which makes it a good choice if you want to use earphone quite often. 5. Memory card support up to 16GB. 6. Battery charging time is very less. It gets fully charged under 2 hours. 7. The loudness of the speaker (both main speaker and headphone speaker) is sufficient. 8. It does not have that issue which we find in many phones of this range in which during the call, you use the backside speaker to hear what the person on the other side is saying. In such phones, the main speaker which is there to hear the calls through ear doesn't produce good sound. This phone, however, doesn't have any such issue which makes it an excellent choice. 9. Dual sim compatibility. 10. The battery last long. I am getting 2 days battery backup once charged. 11. Buttons are made of plastic and are separate. So there is no chance of swelling of keypad rubber. 12. Cheap and value for money product. Cons- 1. Some people may not like that 'parrot green' strip at the sides of the phone. Final comment- If you want to purchase a simple phone with a good battery backup, this is the best phone in my opinion.
