No more burning my scalp while I weld. Fits good, looks good. I would definitely buy this again. I'm just a hobby welder with my little green Harbor Freight welder, but I've had more than one hot bit of slag dance across my scalp. This cap is perfect.

A little spendy but these are VERY nice and fit perfect. I've had one for over a year now. Just got a couple more. On the company's dollar this time. I am bald so this is my substitute for hair when it's chilly. It has held up unbelievably well from welding to mechanicing in industrial environments. It fits EXACTLY as advertised. My suggestion is get the size the tape measure says when you measure your head. Then wash it by hand. Then wear it damp until dry. You will have a custom fitted cap. Could not be happier!

Double fabric great for overhead welding to just wearing under your hard hat in general

I love this cap because it’s got good coverage…the deep crown is the only way to go for me …it covers the top of my ears and help keep the earbud in tact. I size up one size due to extra hair and I don’t like the cap squeezing my head. For this particular one, it’s got a canvas cover, so theres no real stretch factor in it, something I both like and don’t like about it at the same time. It. Does seem to come out of the dryer a tad smaller, so I try my best to stretch it just a little bit and it’s enough to make it comfortable again. It’s not reversible, but I don’t really care about that. It’s holding up well to the heat and cool enough that it doesn’t make me any hotter than normal. I have purchased more already, so it works for me. Kinda pricey compared to others, but before this I cheaped out and bought those covers that can either be chefs hats or used by welders… the kind that tie in the back. I hated them. The crown wasn’t deep enough and they’re cheap as all get out, so ultimately I wasted my money on them and bought these instead. They scrunch up and get twisted up in the wash, so you have to waste time stretching them out again. Come to think of it, I need to go throw them away.

I wear this cap every workday while welding and grinding. It covers my ears and back neck from flash and grinding dust. I hate grinding dust stuck behind my ears, this cap solved that problem. This is a strong durable cap made real well. I will buy another when this one wears out. Five stars!!!
