I wanted to love this, I really did. It felt nice, it smelled nice. But my lips did NOT like this at all. This was the only thing new I had added to my daily routine and yikes! My lips got so chapped and started cracking in the corners. :( I'm not sure what ingredient is in this that I couldn't handle, but it's definitely not for me.

This doesn't smell like a dessert....it smells like a candle Lol. It's not awful smelling, but I gave it one star because now, from 1 application, it's all I smell and taste... When ou think of cake, you think a mellow/light sweet fragrance, this is kinda a candle vanilla/cinnamon?? With a sweet tart/smarties sharp scent.

This was an extremely disappointing waste of money. I was excited to try this as I love birthday cake flavors, but this tasted like a birthday candle. Very waxy and old with the flavor. It applies smoothly but doesn’t feel pleasant on the lips. It’s barely a step above chapstick, if that. I wiped it off minutes after applying it. Sad to consider throwing it away but I can’t stand the taste of this stuff. I don’t remember their original egg-shaped balms being this unpleasant, but I also haven’t tried them again for years. I won’t be purchasing any more of their products.

This doesn’t smell like birthday cake, not even close. I don’t know what they were trying to do but they missed the mark on this one. While I love EOS chapsticks, I don’t love this one. Don’t but it. This is coming from someone with a super sensitive nose.
