Jende 1x6 Resin Diamond Sharpening Stone for Edge Pro, Hapstone, TSProf, Jende JIGS for Knives (1 Micron (15,000 Grit))

I find this stone very good at giving a polish edge especially the 1 micron grit. It has a bit of weight on the stone which makes it ideal for just rely on weight of the stone to sharpen the edge. I have used this stone on many steels from cheap chef knives to m390, magnacut, s110v maxemet, cru wear and so on it absolutely sharpen these steels with no issues. The only issue I find with this stone is it's has very pourus bond. When I use soapy water or honing fluid it seems to dry up as I use it to sharpen 1 edge had to re apply fluid to clean surface in order to use for other side. If I don't use any fluid due to how find the grit is of the stone the build up stones the stone from doing it's job. I still like it but for how much I paid for this stone I prefer going back to my KDTU or PDT resin bonded diamond or cbn stone which they to me are splash and go. These seem to be very pourus. I would like to think it's just a one of but i had few of these jende resin bondes stones and all very pourus compared to other competitor resin bonded stones
