We used to have these back in India. This is of the same good quality which we had in home decades ago. Serves the purpose well and looks to be of good quality.

My husband loves these tools to grab hot pot lids and other things. It helps him since he has hand muscle issues.

The Pakkad was not good quality, grip is not good, you can open and close with one hand
