Mehr Premium Valet Leather Keychain - Safe, Latch Secured & Useful Key Ring - Elegant Detachable Key Chain

(This is my opinion) - This item is much larger than it appears on the image. I found it to be awkward and bulky inside my pocket. I have my Honda key and remove lock on the detachable ring and I have two house keys on the permanent ring. When folding everything into my pocket the leather strap was just completely unnecessary. I was going to return it but then it would cost me $6 on shipping so I decided to keep it. I removed the four little screws on the bottom of the key chain and I easily slipped off the leather strap. It is now smaller but I am still going to look for a replacement maybe in a few months unless i get used to the bulk feeling.

I love this little keychain! I wanted a detachable keychain for when I had to drive up to the mailbox to get mail without having to go turn the car off and then come start it back up again. The mailboxes in the apartments where I live are all located in one location near the office. I got tired of wasting the time and gas by having to shut off and start up. Now I can just quickly unclip and clip back on while keeping the car running! Also, its great for work too, because I can detach and use my keyfob to get around the building without having to carry my entire keychain around the building! It's pretty sturdy too, so I don't have any fear of it breaking off and getting lost. Definitely recommend!

What I was looking for, however I did accidentally drop a key off the keychain because the lever was pressed down accidentally. The real test will be to see how long that spring lasts.Update: my key ring has been holding up well and I bought a second for my husband. His strap is much shorter which makes it harder to hang from the key hook.

Had to switch back to using an actual key when I purchased a new vehicle recently, and I needed a detachable keyring to separate my vehicle keys from my others so I didn't have a bunch of keys hanging from the steering column while driving. This fit the bill perfectly..Well made, great craftsmanship, and MUCH nicer than the standard steel ring type detachable keyring. I removed the leather strap to minimize it's footprint on the keys (personal preference), and it became perfect for me...Highly recommended...

Quality and design seemed very good, but I ended up abandoned it after a couple of weeks because it was just too bulky in my pocket. I'm still giving it four stars because it might be perfect for someone who does not carry keys in pant pockets.

It works as shown. One of the rings is attached and does not "snap off." I put my home key on that one. The one that does come off is used for my car key, so I can just hand that off to mechanic/valet/ect... and not have to give them my home key. I also use a very slim ring with my mailbox key on it so I can take it off and leave my car running when there are others in the car with me.

The keychain has hex screws holding it together. Within a month of buying this, one of the screws had come out and was lost somewhere. Within 3 months I had lost another one.The leather is high quality and the metal seems good too, but the fit and manufacture seem a little underwhelming. I am kind of disappointed that this didn't really last very long. Otherwise, it's a nice idea for a keychain, with the removable ring.

Loved it for a while but it broke after about 6 months when the screw popped out of the metal part and went down a storm drain along with my housekeys.
