Western Chief Kids Boy's Batman Caped Crusader Raincoat (Toddler/Little Kids)

My grandson loves Batman and I bought this for him for Christmas. He hasn’t received it yet, but I can say it is very well made. The two pieces can be worn separately. The rain coat is lined for warmth and has been printed to look like Batman’s costume. The cape is separate and I think my grandson is going to wear it all the time.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I wanted leave a positive review on this jacket because it is that awesome. The quality is great, the jacket is a decent weight (not a flimsy raincoat that feels like it can tear very easily) and the stitching is all very good. Also it is indeed waterproof (we live in Seattle and it rains all the time!) And my kid absolutely LOVES this jacket. He wants to wear in all day, indoor, outdoors, and to sleep. He is so adorable in it. My only gripe is that the Batman ears don’t stand up very well but that is a very minor detail. I highly recommend this raincoat to any Batman loving kiddo.

Our batman raincoat is amazing! We get compliments on it everywhere we go. Kiddo loves it so much, he insists on wearing it even when it's not raining. The raincoat has a study, soft liner on the inside, so Kiddo is comfortable and never sticks to the waterproof material. The cape has little loops on the ends (which Kiddo has dubbed "Bat Handles"), so he can slip his hands through to hold the cape out. (Which he insists on doing every time.) We recently took it on vacation and everywhere we went were cries of "Look! Batman's here!" The raincoat fully protects from the rain, dries quickly, and is a nice solid weight (Not a mid-summer raincoat). We found the 4T to be true-to-size for our 33 lb, 41" tall kid. He's skinny, so the raincoat is big around the body, but everything is. The sleeves are a good length for him. Kid's got a big head, and the hood still had enough room for a hoodie on a cold day. (But not too big that it falls off or fails to protect.) Definitely feel like we've got room to grow, as well. I would have preferred it to be a pinch longer, but when it's extremely wet, we pair it with rain paints. The coat definitely covers over the rain pants, so there's no lapse in protection. I bought this coat on sale, thinking it would never be worth full price. After using it for two months, I've changed my mind. Worth every penny!

My son is as finicky and particular as any 3-4yo, but he adores everything Batman-related. For this jacket to not overwhelm him conceptually, I had to remove the cape. That is too bad because it is a cute feature I hope he will try before he outgrows it. However, on the third try, after unsnapping the cape (which is very easy to do), I was able to get my little joker to put this on. I was pleasantly surprised to see the hood accommodate my son's enormous head. Mind you, we got the largest size and we did have to roll up just a little of the sleeve. Still, this is what I expected. The external rubbery material seems thick enough that it won't dry out and crack really soon, and the vibrant yellow interior seems to provide just the right amount of insulation to cut the draft without making you swelter, but I am not the dude wearing this thing. I am sure that dude's review would be much more entertaining (probably not very helpful though).

Of course, it's a raincoat and works perfectly good as that. But this coat with cowl and cape is arguably the coolest thing I've seen for my Batman-loving kid ever. It even has little hand holds on the inside of the cape so he can fly around with the cape outstretched. Watching my child run around in a lightening storm has never been so cool.

Ok it's so cute definitely a good purchase. But the smell coming out of the bag was so strong. 5t fit perfect, color was spot on.

The cutest little jacket ever! My nephew is 5 and this fit him sell. Didn't have any smell. Easy to wash

Esta muy padre y el bebé se ve hermoso, vale la pena comprarlo, además tiene un forro de tela que lo hace algo calientito, ademas de ser contra agua ayuda a cortar el viento. La capa esta genial, mi hijo sale corriendo y la capa le vuela, esta genial.
