Perfect
I purchased this laptop in the Amazon Black Friday deals, got a real bargain for it. It works perfectly. I’m just about to start an Open University course and wanted a decent laptop for my studies. I haven’t used a laptop for years, but it all soon came back to me with this lovely laptop. Screen quality is great, easy to use. Starts up quickly and it works quickly. ☺️

A 5-Month Performance Breakdown
I purchased the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 just five months ago, drawn in by the attractive 2-in-1 versatility and its reasonable price point, intending to use it for standard daily tasks and occasional work meetings. Unfortunately, the initial promise of this machine has completely evaporated, leaving me with a device that is frustratingly unreliable and practically unusable for its core functions. After less than half a year of moderate use, the performance has degraded to an unacceptable degree. This laptop is now cripplingly slow. Simple tasks like opening a browser with a few tabs, loading a document, or navigating file explorer trigger significant delays. The system routinely chugs and stutters, making any form of multitasking a painful exercise in patience. The most critical issue is the constant freezing. The device frequently locks up completely, often requiring a hard reset, leading to lost work and significant workflow interruptions. A brand-new laptop should not be struggling this severely to maintain stability. Beyond poor speed and freezing, I've encountered a catastrophic usability failure: the mouse cursor frequently disappears from the screen. This isn't a simple momentary glitch; the cursor vanishes completely, and no amount of touching the screen (in 2-in-1 mode), using the trackpad, or connecting an external mouse will make it reappear. This renders the laptop completely unusable, forcing yet another hard reboot. This level of fundamental input failure after only five months is a severe indication of poor driver stability or faulty hardware. My main need was a reliable machine for remote collaboration, specifically Microsoft Teams meetings. The Aspire 3 Spin 14 has proven utterly incapable of handling this. During video calls, the video feed itself is often stable, but the system's performance collapses the moment I attempt to interact with the meeting or share content. Specifically, trying to share my screen causes an immediate and major performance slowdown, making the operating system sluggish and unresponsive. Trying to open a simple PDF or perform any action while sharing is nearly impossible. It's clear that the internal components—likely the processor and limited RAM—cannot keep up with the demands of modern communication software. If your primary goal is reliable video conferencing, do not buy this laptop. What started as a promising budget convertible has quickly devolved into a slow, unstable paperweight. The 2-in-1 functionality is irrelevant when the core computing experience is so poor. The rapid performance drop-off in just five months suggests severe quality control or underpowered components that cannot handle standard Windows 11 operation. I strongly advise potential buyers to look elsewhere for a reliable machine that will last beyond its initial honeymoon period.

Good laptop
Very good laptop for common tasks, I don't expect to work well for video editing but for usual tasks, web browsing and online tools works great.

ACER laptop
The Acer laptop was really easy and simple to set up. It has a large bright screen and easy to use keyboard. It was straightforward to download Microsoft Windows package and I was then ready to use my laptop. The laptop was well protected and packaged well and arrived earlier than expected.
