Delicious noodles!
I love the chewiness and taste of these noodles! Perfect for those of us who are in a calorie deficit! It’s easy to prepare and a healthy alternative for regular pasta.

Small portions but no scent and zero prep time
If you have ever purchased shirataki from a grocery store, you are probably familiar with the 7oz and 14oz packages. These are packed in a large amount of liquid, and the liquid has a very fishy smell. This is due to the manufacturing process as opposed to the konjac itself, which is flavorless. Hethstia and other non-refrigerated, ready-to-eat shirataki noodles are marketing to an audience distinct from those who frequent asian grocery stores. These are not packaged in the same way as traditional shirataki, so there is no fishy smell present. I rinse these for a few seconds and squeeze out excess water with my tofu press, but the amount prep for these probably depends on the viscosity of the liquid or sauce you will use. For kimchi stew or mul-naengmyeon, these can go right in without any prep. If you are making western dishes like noodles with tomato-based or alfredo sauce, you can certainly put these in a skillet dry to remove excess moisture and water. The greatest thing about these is zero prep time. Faster and healthier than boiling and eating starchy noodles, these are carb-free, filling, and texturally pleasing. The worst thing about these is the small amount per package. For the same price, you can get more than twice the quantity of shirataki from a local grocery store, although that does require draining/rinsing/boiling or dry sauteeing. Even though these are more expensive than shirataki at the grocery store, they save time and gas, so I consider these to be of equal value.

Good
I’m not overly impressed, but they are pretty good. I do a lot some Korean chili and sautéed vegetables and it’s pretty good.

Great for a KETO diet!
Love the low carb aspect and love the texture. I’m more into el dente and that’s about what you get with this pasta.

As I hoped
No weird flavor. I make lo mein that is quite satisfying. Yes, the noodles are rubbery but I expect that. Have bought many times

Horrible quality
Horrible texture, feels like dried rubber. All packs were congealed inside. Absolutely not edible. Couldn't peel apart the "block" once it was opened.

Good but expect issues
Great with some caveats. I originally got another box of spaghetti noodles from another store but they were a little more expensive so I decided to try these instead next because of cost, 1 extra packet to the other company and i could get the fettuccine noodles. The first packet I pulled was great. I make a homemade curry Alfredo sauce for pasta night for myself and my boyfriend and it works perfectly together; I love mushrooms but these noodles don’t smell or taste like shiitake and the mouth feel is like grain noodles for the most part. It’s slightly chewier but it’s fine for me. Just make sure when you drain the package of water use a clean cloth or paper tower to soak the excess water from the noodles or it will dilute your sauce a little bit. We had some left over sauce for the next day so I make it again; here’s where I had issues. I opened the next packet it was fine and the same as the night before. I fasted this day ( on a cut for the next few months btw so if you’re a bodybuilder or just athletic like me these Konjac noodles are amazing, just saying) and decided on two packets. This second pack of noodles were hard, webby, dry and rubbery to the hand feel. I tossed the packet out, again hard rubbery gelatinous strings globbed together. I pulled one pack after another until I now had 4 packs left that felt decent from the outside of the bag. I threw out half the box. These are great but it’s frustrating that I’m not saving any money by getting these noodles from this company when half or more of the box is completely inedible. I’d say get this brand with these expectations.
