MILD STEEL SHEET METAL SQUARE CUT PLATE PANEL 2mm Thick / 200x200mm Size (2x200x200mm)

My years old fire pit has a hole in the base. I bought this to patch it up and it worked perfectly.

Good quality used for putting on my work bench

I needed a 200mm x 200mm sheet of mild steel plate to help me securely mount a 23Kg vintage engineering vice to a wooden work bench. I drilled 3x 12mm holes in this plate, then ran three M12 stainless steel threaded bolts through the top of the vice holes, the thickness of the bench, and then this 3mm thick plate, before applying locknuts to the bolts - job done! 👍I was impressed with how quickly this steel plate was sent out to me, and how it had been sensibly packaged. The quality of the steel and the reasonable price makes it’s a product that I’m happy to recommend. Oh, and if I need any more steel plate (highly likely) I’ll be sure to purchase it from this supplier.

Its as advertised, cut to your required size i will be using it as a solid base to bend and cut photo etch parts in scale modelling

Excellent compromise between weight and résistance. 2mm is perfect for my project.This plate now needs to be cutted, I tought was bit lighter but it's fine.

Very good pice of steel good quality but the price is very high for such a small piece of steel

My order arrived on time. The metal plate was value for money the correct size. I am very disappointed it is not as it appears on the photo on Amazon website. It does not have a polished finish but is very dull therefore I cant use it for the purpose I bought it for!
