Saves on dust - pays for itself. Very useful

So convenient to lightly spread the first Saturday lime. It prevents waste and overflows. So happy with this handy tool. For me the value is well worth the money.

To spread evenly and provide a good layer, this device works well. It’s a solid plastic material and comes apart into two pieces. It’s easy to fit the top on and it holds together. There is a loop and a long stem to make holding, shaking and filling easier. There is even a tiny loop to hang to store. I think I would prefer to be able to have it sit on its own when not in use. I don’t feel like this is ideal. That’s really my only complaint. Be sure to use all the dust then it won’t be an issue in storage.

The size holds a good amount of first Saturday lime. Dusting the coop and bedding is so much easier with this thing and it ensures you don’t use too much. It isn’t too heavy when loaded with dust and the value for money is good.

Not really thrilled with this. The holes are just too small to shake the DE or First Saturday Lime around. I ended up using the scoop that comes with the lime bag.

The media could not be loaded. I love this chicken bathing dust shaker! I've used it with a specially formulated chicken dust (very similar to diatomaceous earth) and it worked beautifully. It's easy to scoop some amount of product up with the cone and shake it over the birds.
