Great radio with unusual features for one with such a low price tag
OK I've only had this little radio for two weeks, but so far I am very impressed. We live about fifty miles from Boston, just about at the maximum range for picking up FM stations from there. To my surprise reception of those stations is very good - equal in strength and clarity to my Bose. I've used the radio daily since I received it, often for long periods at a time and sometimes using blue tooth to transmit to my ear buds. Even so, I have just today had to recharge the battery, Given its small size, I expected poor sound quality from its speaker, but no, if the signal is reasonably strong, the sound quality is quite good. The blue tooth transmitter function is a big plus. I can set the radio on a table and listen on my ear buds while walking around. Of course, you can't wander too far away before you lose the signal. I haven't used the MP3 function yet, so I can't comment on that. All in all, a great little radio as far as I'm concerned.

On low volume will run for hours and hours. Makes a great pillow speaker.
I really like this little radio. Small and produces good sound. Gets my AM stations good. I listen to talk radio daily. The 2 main things I like about this radio is how long the charge lasts. It runs all night on low volume. I put it under my pillow and listen to Coast To Coast while I fall asleep. Wife don't hear it which is a plus. I do wish the volume was a knobs or dial though for more precise adjusting. Mp3 music cuts in and out on volume setting 2. Volume 1 you can't hear anything. On volume 3 the mp3s are to loud for a pillow speaker. So I just listen to radio instead under pillow. Easy to setup. This was a great purchase for me. Cheap and usable.

Bluetooth works with AM FM & MP3
Prunus J-618 I bought this radio because of its unique Bluetooth feature of being able to listen to AM FM and MP3 music on a wireless headset. Normally, Bluetooth causes interference to AM and FM radio . I was prepared to send it back thinking perhaps the Bluetooth was only for MP3 play. Surprisingly, Bluetooth worked on all three functions, however, AM sound was somewhat fuzzy and attenuated, but still listenable through Bluetooth. Tuning on FM was good and on AM exceptional. FM and MP3 are both stereo on stereo headsets. MP3 is basic in function and manipulation. “Mix”, “single” and “all” were the options as well as “forward one file” or “backward one file”. You can auto scan for presets or set them manually. The buttons are somewhat persnickety, as you can accidentally seek the next strong station when attempting to advance to the next frequency if you hold down the button a little too long. If you do press and hold the button and the radio seeks the next strong signal, but you interrupt it, it will revert to the original frequency instead of stopping at the frequency on the display. Also, when changing radio bands, if you press the button a little too long you will initiate a band scan for automatic presets. Overall, it’s a very good radio. They recommend using a never paired Bluetooth device, such as a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headset/earphones. Also, to either turn off all Bluetooth devices or to pair initially away from Bluetooth signals. I’ve paired it with my Bose headphones, sleep mask earphones, and my iPhone to receive and play music. Yes, it also has stereo sound on wired headphones/earphones. The beauty of wireless sound means you can set your radio to optimal reception (i.e. attaching a wire to the telescopic antenna to increase FM reception or using a passive loop AM antenna) allowing you the freedom to move about and still enjoy unhindered reception.

I love it, use it every day
So, the onboard speaker is kinda crummy, so if you're looking for an amazing sound, you'll probably want to connect it to a better speaker. But that is literally the only thing that I can say is even remotely negative about this!!! And tbh, for me it's not even a negative. The crummy speaker sounds nostalgic to me, old music hits the right vibe through it. It has a nice warm kind of fuzz to it~ Anyway, so, the #1 amazing thing about this radio to me is that it is THE ONLY ONE I COULD FIND that supports bluetooth out. If you have a nice bluetooth headset, you can listen to the radio on it! It also has bluetooth in, so if for whatever reason you want to play some other device through it, you can. The radio tuner is digital and easy to work. Supports both FM and AM bands. The built in MP3 player is SUPER FAST. Like, if you slot press the button for it and you have a TF card loaded into it, the music will just immediately begin playing. It remembers your place when you turn it off, or remove the TF card, and if you slot in a new card, it will just immediately start playing. It doesn't support anything like playlists or anything, it only plays absolutely everything on the card, but that's fine. It has shuffle and repeat~ It also has a sleep timer, so it can automatically turn itself off after up to 90 mins The battery is also great! I've had this thing running through a 2 day convention, and a couple nights sleep, and it got to like 50%. I didn't have it turned all the way up though, so, mileage may vary, but, the battery seems great to me! It also has a standard headphone jack, I've never used it, but it's there if you want it~ As for the physical, it's a plastic body with plastic and rubbery buttons. The buttons all have a very nice loud clicky feel to them. It feels pretty solid in the hand, the plastic doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. It has one of those classic plastic covered LCD screens. Easy to read in a very bright environment, but it also has a very bright backlight that turns on for a few seconds when you press any button. It has an extendable antenna for FM and AM, and gets great signal~ The buttons are all labelled pretty clearly, and many of them have dual functions, so, it's wise to read the instructions if you're not sure about them, but I was able to understand it basically right away by looking at it. The instructions are nicely detailed about what does what though~ So yeah, I just love this thing man, if you're in the market for a radio to carry around with you, with multiple options for what it can play, and how it can play it for you, you really can't go wrong with this one.

Not worth the headache, time or money.
Let me start at the beginning. It took over 5 hours to charge. After charging, I set the preset buttons to the channel’s that I liked. Next, I set up the headphones. All was great. The following day, I turned it on and none of my preset channels were there. The headphones were no longer connected. I bought a new set of headphones specifically for this radio so they were not connected to anything else. I get out the joke instructions again and reset everything again. All was great. I didn’t turn it on again for a few days. When I did, you guessed it, no presets and headphones not connected. This is when I decided to return it. I’m not going to reset this junk every single time I use it.

Nice little radio al good here
Radio has decent clear sound on clear channels, am and fm did channel search flawlessly. Headphone jack works fine. No issue pairing to Bluetooth speaker but I did turn off all Bluetooth on other devices. This is going to be used for campfire music along with mp3 player. It's really all I needed and was reasonably priced.

Minimally Ok, but static, time delay, and unintuitive channel memory are annoying.
This works almost acceptably well, but not quite. Problems: 1. The pairing was difficult the first time. 2. There is static 'around the edges' of voices. 3. There is a noticeable time delay. 4. The scanning, channel selection, and channel memory storage are un-intuitive and slow. It scans through all channels and stores the 'hits'. You can then choose from among those stored channels. There is no 'fast mode' for just traversing the spectrum to get to a frequency you want. You can push and hold the up/down tuning buttons, but it always moves at the same speed. What you want, probably, is to be able to quickly find a channel of interest and store that channel, with a long hold or similar, as a user-specified number. I use this in a gym to listen to the TV which is broadcasting sound on an FM channel, as my phone does not have an FM radio receiver. The static and time delay are quite annoying when watching a show; not so bad for watching news or something similar.

Feature Packed Radio with a Bargain Price
I’ve been looking for a small radio to carry with me while walking the dog and to take with me to Progressive Field to listen to Tom Hamilton call the game. People, I hit the jackpot. This compact solidly built unit has every feature you could want in a “transistor” radio. Manual tuning with digital readout, telescoping antenna, excellent sound quality, USB-C charging , AM & FM bands (not just FM), and a nice little wrist strap. The 20 preset stations can be set and edited quite easily. And it has the rarely found Bluetooth send and receive capability so you use it both as a receiving speaker for your phone or to send radio transmissions to a set of Bluetooth head phones. It can also play MP3’s from its TF Card slot. Lastly, it has a locking function so you can keep it in a pocket without inadvertently changing the station. And when you consider the very low cost, this is a no-brainer.
