Isle of Paradise Self Tan Water Medium (200 ml) Hydrating Self Tanning Water Natural Ingredients & Vegan

This is my favourite self tanning product. I also use the prep spay and the remover. It smells lovely, very easy to apply. Just spritz it all over and buff it in. No colour guide so you can wear it going about your day and it doesn't stain clothes or bedding if you don't apply too much and let it dry. It dries fairly fast and leaves skin feeling nice and soft/moisturised. People always think it's a real tab, it's subtle like one day in the sun. Easily buildable for a deeper tan. With the usual prep it's not streaky. It lasts me about a week and fades away quite natural looking too. I usually top up midweek anyway. I highly recommend if you want an easy, natural looking self-tan with very little effort needed.

Great product! Don’t get greedy - if you are pale maybe go for the light one or you’ll get Oompa Loompa vibes. I did that. It is still manageable, not too orange, but next buy will be light. Also GET THE BRUSH! Do not do this with your palms and please do not do it with a tanning mitt. I did it with a tanning mitt first time and you get streaks! With the brush it goes on so smooth!

I use this to fill in a continuous spray bottle, and then apply the tab in the shower for easy cleaning after. Make sure you rub it all in well, as you can’t see where you’ve applied it so it’s easy to end up with streaks! It develops nicely within a few hours Washes off nice and evenly, over the course of 5-7 days. Inoffensive smell too, remains my favourite

I’ve always used one brand of self tan but as I’ve got older it doesn’t look like it used too. I read the reviews for this product and thought I would try it. I’ve never used tanning water before and it’s a revelation. I’m fair skinned and don’t tan easily. Other products I have tried seem to leave me with an orange tint. There is no biscuit smell and it went on easily with a tanning mitt. My first thought was oh no, it’s orange! Here’s the science. It looks slightly orange at application but I woke up tanned on my legs. I did my legs and one boob as a tester last night. It’s a great natural looking colour with no streaks and no tan hands. My slippers have a white fluffy edge and after I dried ( which is fast) I wore my slippers all night. There was no transfer on to the white. I had my mammogram today and the nurse actually asked if my left boob had been on holiday. Well chuffed with this product and will be buying more

I have to admit I'm inexperienced when it comes to fake tanning. I got this product to try it out and followed instructions regarding self tanning. I have to admit, I applied it and slept in it and it gave me nice tan. However, it just does not fade quickly, which may be a good thing. After a solid week of showering twice a day, it's still there.

I was so hopeful, having spent a good few hours comparing and researching online. I applied this four days ago now. The first day was very sticky. No matter how much I rubbed it in with my mitt, it felt tacky all day. To begin with, it smelled great - really different to the normal fake tan smell. By the end of the day, it smelt terrible. Worse than others. I showered and it made zero difference. Day 2, I showered and could still smell it. I tried moisturiser and it didn’t work. My arms were very dark and orange. I showered again in the evening and still smelt. Day 3 - even though I had rubbed it in a huge amount, I had the inevitable marks around the wrists. Elbows were ok, though. Smell still there. It’s now day 4 and the smell has gone. I'm still battling the orange marks around the feet and wrists, but they will tame in time. The orange is a little more balanced, so I’m hoping by my wedding in six days it’ll look more natural! Photo is of day 4 - so almost natural looking! My advice is to put hardly any on to begin with. It’s very very dark and stinky, so less is more and then build up!!

My favourite tan to use, you do need to be thorough as there is no guide colour you will wake up with a lovely glow!

Really great for building up a natural-looking tan without it feeling too sticky or orange, but the main problem I find is where to spray it (Currently I spray it in the shower basin, but I find this makes the bottom of my feet super orange, I'm conscious of spraying the mist elsewhere due to it tinting / damaging flooring or items).

Ich habe schon einige Selbstbräuner ausprobiert, aber dieses Bräunungswasser von Isle of Paradise sticht für mich positiv heraus. Die Bräune ist sehr natürlich, streifenfrei (bei sorgfältigem Auftragen mit Handschuh) und deutlich intensiver als z. B. beim St. Moriz Mousse in Medium. Obwohl die Flasche auf den ersten Blick recht klein wirkt, reicht der Inhalt bei mir locker für sechs bis sieben Anwendungen. Der Duft ist angenehm, kein typischer Selbstbräunergeruch, und es färbt auch kaum ab – was ich sehr angenehm finde. Einziger Nachteil: Das Wasser ist farblos. Dadurch sieht man beim Auftragen nicht, welche Stellen man schon bearbeitet hat. Das erfordert etwas Erfahrung oder ein gutes Gefühl für gleichmäßiges Verteilen. Wer das Handling beherrscht, bekommt ein tolles Ergebnis mit guter Haltbarkeit (ca. eine Woche bei normaler Belastung). Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Suggest you spray it on your hands then apply to your face. Great product. No orange tones.

Been using this product for three years. (The pictures are after using Dark, one time, and I am PALE/FAIR) The lighting makes it look orange, it is NOT ORANGE, it is very natural. i included an outside photo to show. This is my favorite way to tan and I have used A LOT of products. It does NOT get on your clothes really and you do not need to wash it off.... but I have found you should after 8 hours or it over develops and will rub off onto your clothes and smell! But it always washes out of my clothes. I wanted to share how I do it though and my TIPS. Exfoliate and shower before, I usually do it the day before and tan the day after (also because you don't want your wet hair messing with your tan) Use a mitt! Always, with any tanning product! I would suggest moisturizing your feet before starting. I start there, but you don't need a lot on your feet. I usually spray on the mitt and rub in (about three sprays each time, but only like one or two for both your feet!) And I work my way up my body. Make sure to get in between your toes and BLEND. It is clear so just rub and blend, rub and blend! Once you have covered everything, I use what is left on the mitt to DO MY FACE & HANDS! Don't go over an area you have already done. (For example, if you did your legs and are doing your arms, don't go back to rub your legs more) When I am done, I wipe my HANDS on a DRY towel and do not wet them! Just wipe them real good, especially the palms! As long as you have enough saturation but not wet or dripping and you don't go over areas you have previously done, it shouldn't be streaky. I do it before bed and wake up tan! Then repeat as desired. Takes me under 10 minutes to do my whole body before bed. I do it 1-2 times a week to maintain it. ALSO, to keep my face the same color as my body I use the tanning drops they sell too. One drop into my normal moisturizer and I apply it to my face like normal, everyday. Hope this helped! (EDIT: Been using 5 years now. I got their spray bottle, sold separately, and it holds an entire bottle of spray tan and the mister is better, highly recommend. Also don't practice fake tanning when you're not used to it and have go somewhere important. It's easy for your hands to look streaky if you wash your hands after or while its developing, its easy for your feet to look patchy as dry skin collects there, a good tan is a learning curve. I personally have a full length pant nighty and long sleeve shirt that I use to sleep in on fake tan nights and I love it, just to prevent the smell from getting on my bed. No one knows I fake tan because it does not look orange or fake but I do look tan and it is buildable and pretty. Once I wash off the smell/tan really well in the morning, (even though you can't see it on) It will not stain your clothes or anything like that)
