Tried many suggested remedies at one time hoping to find one that worked. Massive deep cleaning, moth balls, boric acid powder on the carpet and lots of vacuuming. Had just had the carpets "dry" cleaned thinking didn't need wet carpet, then read that the steam method is better for removing critters from carpets.
