good price
I was pleasantly surprised by the price for this optical transceiver module, and was very sceptical about its quality. I was very much surprised when I got hands and used it for a few weeks. It does really have data transmission which equals up to 40Gbps. It's very easy to install and literally does not require any maintenance. I was very much surprised to see this QFCP+ module is compatible with large array of devices. Overall this is a very good 40Gbps optical transceiver which offer high speed connectivity, which is compatible even with the newest of equipment.

Works very well, but had a few small issues...
I got this QSFP+ Transceiver along with another version of the same brand to test to link up my MikroTik Router and Switches, I know it doesn’t say it supports MikroTik, but thought I would try, so these two reviews will be the same. MikroTik CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS (Router) <- 2x -> MikroTik CRS326-24S+2Q+RM (Main Switch) <- 2x -> Mikrotik CSS326-24G-2S+RM (Smaller Switch) While there were issues, which I will get into in a minute, but they do work after faffing about with them and connecting them up in a certain order to even get a Link. For them to work as 4x 10G Mode with a MMF 8-Core Fibre fanout jumper cable I had to manually set to 4x 10G Mode on the QFTP+ Port on the Main Switch that has 2x 40GB QSFP+ Ports that both supports both 4x 10G and 1x40G Modes. Auto Mode didn't not work at all, which is fine. When testing, they were hit and miss if they would work (get an actual link) if connected in the wrong order. Like when plugging the 4 SFP+ (10G) transceiver and this QSFP+ transceiver in the above devices (Router and Switches) and then plugging in the cables in, I would get the odd one or two of the four ports working. But what seems to of worked for me was to just plug in all the SFP+ Transceivers with their LC Cables all connected in first then plug this QSFP+ Transceiver with the Fanout Fibre Cable already connected to it into one of the QSFP+ Port my Main Switch and all works fine, I can also confirm that if all connected and then powered up it also worked the 7 times I tried it. These little issues I had and having to faff about with to get working might just be down to the MPO to 8x LC Fanout Cable used, but it did work in the 40G Mode with a MPO to MPO Cable to another version from the same brand QSFP+ Transceiver that I also got, however it was still hit and miss when run in 4x 10G Mode on either cables. But these issues may be all down to me using them on my MikroTik Equipment, but when they were working it was solid.

Very comfortable and easy to use
This optical transceiver module is compatible with HPE, H3C, JG325A, JG325B, LSUM1QSFP0, 40G QSFP+ SR4 850nm, 150m, DDM MTP/MPO-12 MMF and works as expected with no any errors, installation is very simple I must admit. The transmission is: 40Gbps. The wavelength is: 850nm. The working distance is: 150m. It can works in temperature from 0-70 celcius degrees. It's very durable material, rapid heat dissipation, also prevent interference, it support hot plug too. It looks like really good quality for long time of use, and price is very good I must admit. Recommended to anyone.

Will it fit my Arista device?
For the price these transceivers are exceptional. As far as I can see there’s nothing that even approaches these Opstran optical transceivers on Amazon. Cheap, yes, in as much as they don’t cost very much, but certainly not cheap in quality. This is a plug and play device and there wasn’t any installation procedure. It worked right from the off. If I had to have a wee niggle it would be in response to a statement in one of the pictures in the listing, “Fully compatible with nearly all Arista devices”. How do you know/find out if your device is one of the incompatible ones? If there are only a few devices that fall into this category surely, to eliminate uncertainty, a list of these devices should be made available? As I said, it’s only a minor issue! Not one to put a buyer off. If you’re one of the unlucky ones that has an incompatible device it can be returned for a full refund.

A valuable addition to my networking toolkit
As a network administrator, I'm always on the lookout for products that can streamline my workflow and provide reliable connections. This module caught my eye because of its wide compatibility with various networking equipment and its ability to transmit data over short distances using multimode fiber optic cables. In my experience, this product is particularly useful for upgrading 10G networks to 40G, which has been a challenge in the past due to the limited availability of compatible transceivers. With this module, I was able to upgrade my network without having to replace any existing equipment.

Good
Good quality and size. Price point is better than branded versions. Works well and have had no issues this far.

A great alternative to the main manufacturer at a suitably lower price!
I have a handful of ever-so-ancient Nexus 9000 switches in use around a large warehouse that I manage, and until the death of the aforementioned switches - I'm just looking to free up a few more ports at this point. So going for links with some of these seemed like a good bet - and to perhaps open up a little more bandwidth where required. These popped in and worked without fault and they're chugging along nicely. Cannot fault at all. Good stuff!
