[New Upgraded] Renami 0.01μm Ultra-Filtration Gravity Water Filter Replacement for BB9-2® Black Activated Carbon Filters, Compatible with Berkey® Travel, Large, Royal, Crown Series, Pack of 2

I bought 4 of these filters and quickly discovered that they are very much superior to the Original Equipment of Manufacture. Less than 1/2 price price than OEM, is the thing that convinced me to buy these filters the most. They installed easier than OEM and they work much faster than the original, extremely OVER PRICED ceramic/charcoal type provided by the Manufacturer. This smart design is much easier to clean than the original and they cycle water at a MUCH faster rate. The water quality they produce is superior. I highly recommend these filters to replace the OEM and there is no longer a need for those extremely expensive black charcoal filters that do not last as long or work as well.

I can’t give it 5 stars, because I haven’t used these filters for very long.I bought these because of the low price compared to Berkey black filters (which received negative press recently), 2 stage construction contains silver to prevent bacteria growth, claims for longer durability, easier cleaning, food grade material, lab certifications and removing particles bigger than 0.1 micron.These filters were first advertised on Amazon on December 4, 2023. I am writing this review on December 26, 2023. I have used these filters two days. I bought these filters. I was not compensated in any way for this review.What I know:1. They fit in my Royal Berkey.2. They are slightly shorter than the black Berkey filters.3. Flow is about the same as original black Berkey filters.4. Berkey® PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements fit on these with no problems. See pic.5. Unlike my Berkey black filters which increased ppm in my filtered water, these slightly reduced my tap water with 111-117 ppm to 104 ppm. When I added the PF-2 into the filter flow, it dropped to 64 ppm.6. These filters come with no instructions. You have to read the Amazon description, which says you don’t have to prime them. You just soak them. I soaked them and the PF-2 filters overnight. I still follow the instructions to prime the PF-2 filters.7. This filtered water is tasteless to me and has no odor. My tap water has no odors, but it has a taste which is different than tasteless bottled water. I don’t see the tiny white particles floating in the filtered water, which I easily see in the Berkey container with tap water.8. The package comes with 4 pieces of sand paper to clean them.If these filters last me a year or longer, then these are a true bargain. I’m taking the manufacturer’s claims at face value about certifications, food grade and filtering 0.1 microns and bigger. I like the white outer shell. It is more durable than the soft black Berkey filter material. I’m hoping this company made an improvement on the original black Berkey filter design.

I decided to purchase the Berkey BB9 replacement filters from a third-party seller because the price was much more affordable than the original ones. To my surprise, these filters exceeded my expectations. They deliver the same great performance as the original filters, effectively removing impurities and providing clean, great-tasting water. What impressed me even more was the seller’s outstanding service. They not only provided detailed information about the product materials but also included the NSF certification and explained how to verify it, which made me feel confident about the quality. It’s rare to find a product that offers such great value without compromising on quality. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and will definitely return to this seller for my future filter needs!

The filters do not work. They do not filter the water. I tested pre filtered and post filtered and they are the same. I put red dye in the water and filtered it and the water came out pink tented so far. So disappointrd and a waist of money.

Baltimore water isn't bad but the improvement in the taste of our water was Immediately obvious. They install with a simple wing nut design. My filter had spots for more filtration, so I bought 2 of these. It has More than doubled my water flow.

Takes 24 hrs to filter 2 gallons, that's great, except we use more than that. They do a good job, just so slow it's Almost unusable

Did alot of research on the net on various filters and these were the best spec'ed out value. Bought these ceramic filters b/c they're cleanable and can be back-flushed for extended use in my gravity fed potable water unit. Micron filtration # yields excellent purity - no health worries here. Universal fitment to most countertop potable water tank systems is advantageous. No noticable aftertaste, like with some other brand filters. Will probably add another pair to my homemade kitchen tank system for a total of 4 so the drinking water tank fills faster. Definitely buy again after their 5-7 year life span is up, per specified total gallon usage.

I use these filters to remove lime sediment and chlorine taste from my tap water for cooking and drinking. One pair has served my single occupant household for several months. I can’t speak to the final longevity, but they’ve filtered enough water that at this point I consider them acceptable value.I did have to seal one top cap with food grade silicone which is annoying but also a common problem with candle style elements that have a top cap.Fits my Alexapure just fine.
