A fantastic little lathe good value for the money

I unboxed it and immediately questioned all my life choices. Turned it on, and the thing wobbles like a jelly on roller skates. Flimsiest thing I own, and I'm including a single sheet of A4 paper in that comparison. Bearings make more noise than a marching band in a tin can. Couldn’t cut anything - even the included plastic test dowl- without it threatening to explode, and I’m pretty sure it laughed at me the whole time. I couldnt tell over the noise. Would rather cut with a wet noodle than touch this lathe again. I cant express how terrible this was. 0 value for money. 0 functionality.

Needs extra two rail modules to raise the lathe above the main rail so that the Jaws can be fully opened, otherwise the most you can insert is about a 15mm diameter work piece without opening wider and having the Jaws hit the main rail. Seems like good value for money, quality wise, but have not yet used it, can't until I get extra rail modules if indeed they sell them..

It would be 5 stars but the main tool feeder binds up it gets to the far right side of the slide. To the point that it will not go all the way to the fast right. Once it gets to about 2" away from the right side it starts to loosen up & it moves the way it should. You'll see in photos how far along it goes before it's totally bound up & can't move unless you use proper force.

My husband thinks that this is great. Need to buy extra pieces to complete his model boat but for the price it is exactly what he needs to do finish the job.

Manual says 2 speeds but only 1 speed on switch. The jaws on this chuck can be reversed to allow larger diameter material but the jaw steps when reversed are very narrow

Not what I expected.

L'articolo mi è giunto privo delle manovelle dei volani, del dispositivo centrante, delle viti per l'assemblaggio alla base, degli attrezzi per l'apertura della morsa del tornio e di ogni altro dispositivo previsto per l'utilizzo dell'articolo. Dentro la scatola ho trovato solo il tornio, la base, l'alimentazione, un pezzetto di legno ed uno di alluminio e la chiave a brugola oltre ad una piccola descrizione del montaggio e della lista degli attrezzi a corredo. Considero tutto questo, dopo una spesa di 199 euro, un vero e proprio furto.

Llego muy bien embalado, casi completamente ensamblado, solo tuve que instalar las manijas y ajustar la distancia entre motor y soporte. Cortador preensamblado también, aunque preferí ajustarlo a mi preferencia. Trabaja muy bien, incluye un cilindro de madera (no logre ponerlo en la máquina) y uno de aluminio de prueba. El de aluminio cortó fácil, aunque el acabado con el cortador incluído no es el mejor y por la misma vibración, la mesa es ligera pero estable. Me gustaría mas variedad de cortadores (incluye solo uno), pero por el precio es excelente para hobby en torneados pequeños Incluye Herramientas de ajuste y ensamble.
