I bought this and flew it 3 times. I went about 50 feet high and it quit being controlled by the remote. Wound up in a neighbors tree and have not been able to get it back. Works great if it is about 20 feet high. Junk if you go any higher. Would not recommend if you are a beginner. Was told it was good for beginners but it is honestly junk. No contol over 30 feet high and honestly not worth the money I spent to buy it. Camera quality is not what is says it is and is no where near what is specified.. will not buy again…

This is the drone my son received for his 8th birthday and he had a blast with it! It is very easy to use.

The battery life is very short. I was under the impression that it would have lasted more than 7 minutes. And I don’t think it’s even that long. The blades are paper thin. First time out it broke one of the blades in a bad landing. And the guards fall off and they don’t send you any extra one so know I am missing one. They do send extra blades which is a good thing bc they are made really cheaply.

As soon as the drone takes flight, the camera loses connection and is unable to perform the basic function of the drone. The 2 batteries are a nice touch if you charge for 2.5 hours to have 7 minutes of flight, which is perfect being as you can't take video or pictures, you can try and hover while the drone fights you and drifts out of range of the controller. Don't waste your time or money.

Black Falcon drone 4K is a piece of junk battery lasts 5 minutes. I used it about 6 times and one of the motors has burnt out, bought it 6 months ago, big mistake waste of money.If you want to spend a 100 bucks, send it to me.

I did not buy from Amazon. I bought direct from Black Falcon Direct. I received the unit charged the batteries as directed. First problem I had was the wifi is very sketchy. It constantly dropped the connection with my phone. I finally gave up on that and decided to just fly the drone. I got it flying indoors without too much trouble. First timer... Here is the reason I decided to ask for a refund of my money. It has a 5 MINUTE fly time duration. It clearly states on their website that it is the 'improved' battery for 2024, giving up to 30 minutes of flying time. All 3 batteries gave 5 MINUTES of fly time. Never got past that as I thought maybe the battery had to learn. Save yourself the hassle. Stay AWAY from this toy. Not recommended.

This drone is both fun and durable. If you have no experience flying a drone, this drone is perfect for you to learn on. It also comes with extra replacement parts, and the instructions and app are pretty easy to follow.
