Bass Boost, It’s amazing product ❤️

We purchased this speaker at the beginning of February and were initially happy with it. Unfortunately, it completely stopped working after just two days of normal use. Since it was under warranty, we were told to take it to an authorized service center — which is a 50-minute drive from our home. After making the trip, we’re now being told they have to wait for a replacement part to repair it. For a brand-new product to fail after only two days is extremely disappointing. At this point, I would have expected a replacement unit rather than having to go through the inconvenience of repairs and delays on something that was practically brand new. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience, and I would encourage others to consider this before purchasing.

Sound quality and setup was good. However, after about 6 to 8 months of usage, it just died and never worked. Thanks to great Amazon customer service, they took it back under warranty and issued full refund.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I picked this up. I’ve been running a Sony 5.1 system with a 250w subwoofer for years, an incredible piece of kit in its day and still going strong. The only real downside? It was fully wired. So when I came across this JBL, clearly designed with movie lovers in mind, I was hoping for something that could truly compete with my old Sony setup. And wow… it absolutely delivers. The first thing that hit me was the power. This system shakes the sofa, rattles the windows, and you can feel it through the floor, even when I’ve only got it set to about a quarter volume. It’s like bringing the cinema home. I looked at the 1300 and 800 models too, but this one sat right in the sweet spot for performance vs. price, and I don’t regret it for a second. At the time I bought it, it was £899, and while that’s not pocket change, you really do get what you pay for here. Setup couldn’t be easier. Apart from the bar-to-TV connection, there are no messy wires. The soundbar itself does the heavy lifting, pumping out Dolby Atmos and creating a full surround effect that still blows my mind. It’s almost magical how a single bar can project sound so convincingly all around you. Plus, you’ve got the option to detach the bar ends and use them as wireless satellite speakers behind you for an even more immersive experience. With around 980w of combined power between the bar and sub, most households will never need to push this thing anywhere near its limits. It’s a beast. That said, I’ll be honest, it shines brightest for movies and TV rather than music. Even with the built-in equalizer, I haven’t found the perfect tuning for my playlists. But that’s not why I bought it, I already use a Denon wireless system for my music. This JBL is for cinema at home, and on that front, it’s unmatched at this price point. Bottom line: I’d recommend this system in a heartbeat. It easily competes with much pricier setups, and if you’re even thinking about it, stop hesitating. Dive in. You’ll be blown away.
