Disposable but Easy to use
Purchased two sets of these these stopwatches for use at summer swim meets in 2015. Only 6 meets a summer, limited use and to be used by adults of varying interest levels, so simple was preferred. Additionally I liked that they are in a rainbow of colors -- most teams use black, colors tend to be easier to identify and seemingly more difficult to lose. We are in season 2 and have 50% or so of the watches still in operation. I can't seem to identify if the batteries are replaceable. Of note: almost all the watches made it through season 1 and the winter, and were operational at start of season 2. During that meet we encountered some rain. Dried off the watches and put them away -- could be that the moisture still in/around them did some more in. We now hang ALL watches over a dehumidifier after each meet. I will probably wind up ordering another batch of these and consider them disposable. For the money, that could keep us about even with more expensive and complicated watches that wind up like socks in a dryer (missing).

Just what I needed.
Very simple operation, start, stop and reset. Nothing more. Costing about $7.34 ea, hard to beat this deal.

Basic digital SW
The 310 is easy to use; however, it is cheaply made, with flimsy buttons that do not always function reliably after a few months of intermittent use. The batteries can be replaced but after replacement the buttons may not be as functional as they were formerly. This is essentially a disposable product. It is susceptible to water damage since it does not have basic water resistance and light rain can disable it. While you "get what you pay for" with this watch, there are far better alternatives available in the same price range. I was not disappointed with the watch but would not buy again. Overall, Ultrak products are less than impressive, at least in the $30.00 range and lower.

Unreliable
I used this stopwatch regularly for less than 2 years to time students during various testing activities. I liked it because it was silent and less distracting for students; however, the buttons began to stick so badly that it is often a fight to get the thing to start or stop timing. Fighting with the stopwatch is more distracting than having one that beeps! The placement of the on/off buttons and the fact that they stick so much, makes this an unreliable way to measure time. Pushing the buttons has also become very uncomfortable on my thumbs. Sometimes it will work with only a light press of the button, other times I push the buttons until I'm blue in the face and nothing happens. The battery works fine, but it seems to be the design of the timer.
