Love my new hot water heater. I installed it in my vacation home in DR and it was easy to install. Works very well with my 220V electricity. Not sure how economical it is yet, however, I'm very happy with the heating system. It's heavy duty.

Worked well for me in my kitchen as a point of use water heater. Excellent build quality. Make sure you review the water flow specifications for your application.

Installation was straight-forward. I was replacing an older point-of-use water heater with plastic pipe connections. This one has brass connections that are far superior. I like the adjustable water temperature. It supplies an HE front-load washing machine and a lavatory in a detached garage. Plenty of hot water.

Do not buy this product. I bought 8kw one after a week shut off , pushed reset button and electrical arching started on right side. Shut off power and took it out will not use this garbage again

I installed this a couple months ago for the shower, so it gets used daily. Heats up quickly, easy to install. Replaced Bosch heater and it's about the same size and seems a bit hotter than the Bosch yet significantly cheaper. Recommended.

Simply fantastic

Have a 20 gallon electric 120V water tank for a place in DC area. Plumber install it for use for 2 full bathroom. Water turn cold after a few minutes. This is installed on the outlet side of the 20 gallon to act as a booster for both bathrooms. This seems to be doing the job even after 20 minutes.

Great product. Very easy to install and works very well. For the price, this is a very competitive product and highly recommended.

Good price compared to what you see in home hardware @ $219.99 after applied coupon for 8kW, but granted the lowest kW I saw was 18kW…so I don’t think this would be enough to work for entire house as a tank replacement..but did direct use under kitchen sink or bathroom. Will be energy saving and save money in the energy bill ..no doubt …in the long run

Broke after 2 Days

I ordered this tankless water heater as an emergency backup. Our original tankless heater is going to celebrate its 10th birthday soon, and I don’t know how much longer it will last. Installation is simple, but you need at least some basic electrical experience, and don’t go messing around in your breaker box if you aren’t comfortable. I didn’t permanently install this heater to test it, but I did rig it to give it a trial run. I found it did as good a job of quickly heating water as our existing heater, and the adjustment knob made showed rapid gain in temperature using an IR thermometer. I had hoped this unit could be a complete replacement when the old one conks out, but the flow rate is on the low side, and it struggled to keep up in the shower. The water was still warm, just not as hot as I’d like. It would definitely make enemies fast if you turned a faucet on elsewhere in the house. Looking at Thermomate’s line of products, I think I’d drop an extra hundred dollars and get their 14KW model as a bare minimum for routine household use, and that’s based on three people in a one-bathroom house.

I'm very disappointed in this purchase and expect to be returning it before the return date expires. It seems to work as expected, but is erratic in performance. Sometimes the water will heat to a comfortable 110 degree shower temperature, then suddenly get cold. NOTE: I bought this for use in one bathroom with a shower and one sink. I need to have a hot shower on demand as promised.
