What can i say, they work fine and 6 ensures I have backups.

this was overall a good product. the packaging was good and as far as i know, none of the parts have been damaged. i used this to connect a monitor to my laptop. my laptop uses display port, the monitor uses vga and dvi-d. this means that i needed to adapt many things. i started with a display port to hdmi adapter cable (male to male). the next thing i did was a dvi-d to hdmi adapter cable (male to male). unfortunately, you can't connect male to male cables. i figured an hdmi female to female coupler would do the trick, so i ordered this. it worked very well until recently. now here's the issue. i had the two cables that were coupled together under my desk, and the wires were just hanging around loose. i was kicking my legs around while watching youtube, and i kicked the cables and the coupler. the monitor blanked out for a second, displayed a no signal error message, and then returned to displaying my video again. the bad thing was there were many green pixels on my screen that resembled dead pixels. if you ever experience this issue, then just unplug and plug back in both sides of the connectors. that worked for me.

I used these to connect some old HDMI cables together so I could put my desktop PC in the closet and run the HDMI to my monitor. While the connectors work fine, your old cable may not. And stringing a couple of short ones together may not work either due to exceeding the signal length or the cables wont align exactly. Bottom line. Order a new 4k or 8k cable the length you need and toss your old short ones
