I used it once and it broke the plastic case broke into pieces I would not buy this item it's junk only had it for a couple of days now it's in trash can Amazon should check products before they shell them

I recently loaned out my fish tape I have had for years. Since it is 200 miles away, I order this one for some wire pulling next week. Most of these units are very similar in terms of construction and use. This one has the clam shell bolted together and it has an ineffective trigger brake on the handle. I suppose the later was added to help you pull by putting the brake on and then holding the case rather than the cable. Personally, I want my hands on the cable so I have the best feel for resistance. So, the brake and the included wire tires are non-factors in the decision to order this tape.The loop on the end is small enough to pass through a ½” hole if you attach your wire properly. Yes, this type or wire puller does bend and can flop around so they are best for EMT or when you have a good open access you can get your hand it. If you have a small target and need a stiff, straighter device, then you will probably be using fiberglass rods.
