Being able to start the kettle from my bed in the morning is so wonderful! My only gripe is the double lid situation is strange and doesn't always seat correctly and never seems to be totally secured, even when following the directions. The kettle is quiet, attractive and easy to clean. I'm really loving the Govee electronics! I have several Govee lights, bulbs, and space heaters and all pair well with the app for ease of use. Review: Alexa, turn the kettle on please! Worth every penny. - This kettle has made my life so much easier in the kitchen, be it our tea time routine or using boiling water for something else, it’s super quick and highly convenient. I was under the impression that 1.7 L could be a tad bit small, but nope! I was wrong, it’s a good size for a family of 4-6 people, and it’s not just good for tea or coffee, it’s extremely helpful for other chores as well. The water boils fairly quickly, I like that the infuser comes out easily which makes cleaning the kettle and the infuser a breeze. I clean the bottom every other day even when I don’t infuse tea leaves. It comes with a brush for cleaning, long handle, easy cleanup. I had connected it with Alexa and it works like a charm, you just give a simple command to Alexa and the water starts to boil on your command withing seconds. The variable temperature presets are spot-on for different teas (green, black, oolong), and the 2-hour keep-warm is good for multiple cups without reboiling. Not having to press a button and being able to operate it remotely is worth all the money. Good size, very well built product, looks good, works even better. Pro tip: I always use filtered water to prevent mineral buildup! Hope this helps! ## Features - Smart Control: Connect your electric kettle to the app to schedule and adjust the temperature anytime. When boiled you will receive a notification. You can also voice control the electric tea kettle via Alexa & Google Assistant for added convenience. - Versatile Infuser: The tiny hole of the infuser prevents leaf spill out. Brew loose tea leaves or tea bags with the infuser. Use it to heat water, make a coffee, or prepare food without the infuser. - Customized Brewing Program: 4 preset temperature from 180 °F to 212 °F for green tea, oolong tea, coffee and black tea. Temperature accuracy of 1°F makes this product ideal for beginners and professionals. - Digital Screen Display: The base has an LED screen to view target and real-time temperatures. 1500 W power heats 1.7 L water in 8 minutes and insulates for up to 2 hours. Convenient app control to adjust insulation time. - Prioritizes Safety: Made of BPA-free food-grade 304 stainless steel for safety and durability. Auto shut-off and boil-dry protection. To prevent scaling and corrosion, wash regularly and empty after each use. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D2NZWXRV | | Best Sellers Rank | #107,539 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #155 in Electric Kettles | | Brand | GoveeLife | | Brand Name | GoveeLife | | Capacity | 1.7 liters | | Color | Silver | | Container Type | Kettle | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 536 Reviews | | Finish Type | Spraying | | Included Components | Electric Kettle H717A, User Manual, Power Base, Quick Start Guide | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 8.46"L x 8.8"W x 7.5"H | | Item Highlight | Electric Tea Kettle with Brewing Program, Variable Temperature Control, 2H Keep Warm & Auto Shut-Off, BPA Free | | Item Type Name | Electric Kettle | | Material | BPA Free Plastics, Shatter resistant borosilicate glass, Stainless Steel | | Material Features | 304 stainless steel, BPA Free Plastics, Non-Toxic, Shatter resistant borosilicate glass | | Model Name | H717A | | Model Number | H717A | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Automatic Shut-Off, Boil Dry Protection, Built-In Infuser, Digital Control, Temperature Control | | Package Information | Kettle | | Part Number | H717A181 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Boiling | | Special Feature | Automatic Shut-Off, Boil Dry Protection, Built-In Infuser, Digital Control, Temperature Control | | UPC | 810127733220 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 120 volts | | Wattage | 1500 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** GoveeLife - **Capacity:** 1.7 liters - **Color:** Silver - **Material:** BPA Free Plastics, Shatter resistant borosilicate glass, Stainless Steel - **Special Feature:** Automatic Shut-Off, Boil Dry Protection, Built-In Infuser, Digital Control, Temperature Control ## Images ![Smart Electric Kettle, Tea Infuser for Loose Leaf, 1.7L Silver - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71+8K4xOdSL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Convenient and attractive! *by J***K on August 24, 2026* I love this kettle! I drink only tea and this kettle is perfect. I set a routine in Alexa and the smart kettle fires off 15 min prior to waking up. The hold feature is awesome, it holds for 2 hours max, I love having hot water ready and waiting. The auto shut off feature is ideal for safety reasons. It has a range of preset temps for different teas, formula etc. The build quality seems great, I hope it last for many years. Don't hesitate to purchase this kettle, you wont be sorry. ## Frequently Bought Together - GoveeLife Smart Electric Kettle with Tea Infuser for Loose Leaf, 1.7 L Electric Tea Kettle with Brewing Program, Variable Temperature Control, 2 H Keep Warm & Auto Shut off, BPA Free, Sliver - Tiesta Tea - Top 8 Favorites Loose Leaf Sampler Dry Flight Set - High to No Caffeine - Makes Hot & Iced - Assorted Sets with Herbal, Black, Fruit Teas & More - 8 Resealable Sample Pouches - Tiesta Tea Maui Mango | Loose Leaf | Mango Pineapple Herbal Tea | Premium Non-Caffeinated Fruit Blend | Makes Hot or Iced & Brews Up to 50 Cups | 5.5 Ounce Refillable Tin --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nz/products/652952663-smart-electric-kettle-tea-infuser-for-loose-leaf-1-7l](https://www.desertcart.nz/products/652952663-smart-electric-kettle-tea-infuser-for-loose-leaf-1-7l) --- *Product available on Desertcart New Zealand* *Store origin: NZ* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
