Outdoor Tech Chips Ultra 2.0 – Premium Universal Helmet Audio System – Bluetooth Headset – True-Wireless Drop-in Audio for Snow - Bike - and Moto Helmets : desertcart.co.uk: Electronics & Photo Review: Really terrible. - I have had chips going back to the 1st iteration. My other half has nicked my 3.0's so I thought I would "upgrade" to these. NOT an upgrade from 3.0. also, connection is terrible. Literally unusable, same Bluetooth connection to my phone as the 3.0's and they are super stable and brilliant. These crackle and disconnect (from each other) every 3 seconds or so. You have to turn each on and off individually, they're a little more bulky and the buttons aren't as "clicky" as the 3.0's which is annoying with gloves on. Yes there is a beep but no tactility. I feel they really missed the boat on these and have designed an awful Bluetooth speaker set. My advice is save yourself £80 and get the 3.0's. Theyre awesome. Review: I've owned two wired-together sets where one stopped working, and went on a quest for completely wireless. 1. The audio is crisp and clear; loud enough to hear well over even icy conditions while snowboarding. Some subtle bass too. 2. Pairing is instant and automatic to my phone. 3. The button control system is perfect and easy to use through the ear pads with heavy gloves in my Smith helmet. 4. Battery life is exceptional! After a full charge, 5 days on the mountain, chips were still rocking 30% battery life. 5. Chips are sleek and easily fit my earpads. The charging case and chips themselves look rad. Yes, I busted out, rad. 6. Phone calls are seamless and my voice is clear when tested. 7. Last, but definitely not least, as the battery life gets low, the voice prompt letting you know the battery is low is not obnoxious. Maybe every 15 minutes. Most devices annoy you every 30 seconds it seems. These are a must and well worth every penny!

I was pleasantly surprised, they are much clearer than the bikes speakers and I was impressed with the bass, not tinny at all. They paired well with my iPhone and they fir comfortably in my 1/2 helmet pouches. They ar3 expensive but I think you’ll find them effective.

These are TERRIBLE, PERIOD! These may have the electronics that are capable of their stated 20 -20khz BUT the speakers ARE NOT CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ANY LOW END FREQUENCIES AT ALL! If these speakers go down to 1khz I'd be suprised. These cost over 4 times their competitors product yet their competitors have the SUPERIOR sound quality. Hands down I have two (and tested the two) of their competitors products. I was going to return the other competitors speakers because I found it hard to use the button functions on their speakers BUT NOW IM KEEPING THE COMPETITORS SPEAKERS simply because like I stated above, have superior sound quality AND volume. When I bought these I was expecting Bose or Sony quality but sadly to say I got Kmart specials, (a sarcastic) O boy! Needless to say these are going back because they simply dont OUTPUT 20-20KHz sound Terribl terrible terrible.

I love these headphones! I can play music, but still hear everything around me. Being able to answer my phone is a bonus! The charging wire was missing from my set and I immediately contacted their customer service. They were very responsive, quickly sent me a charging wire and followed up to make sure I was happy. Very positive experience dealing with this company. I couldn’t be happier!

Hello! Just cracking these open… sound for music seems good with some EQ adjustments… but the phone sound is only the right ear? Sort of annoying… maybe I am doing something wrong?
