Stearns Child Watersport Classic Series Life Vest, USCG Approved Type III Life Jacket for Kids, Great for Boating, Fishing, Tubing, & Other Water Sports; For Kids 30-50lbs

We had to return this and didn't get to use it. My son is 46 pounds, 3.5' tall at 4 years old. We thought we'd use it on vacation and didn't. When I tried it on him, it seemed snug but he said it was fine. All the cinches were at their maximum length to accommodate his size. I'm not a life jacket expert but this seemed to maybe run small. My son is a bigger guy for his age though.

Bought for the boat and both boys, aged 2.5 and 4.5 years old, have no issues wearing these. They are quite comfortable too, as they wanted to keep them on while swimming. Great value and quality.

We bought this vest for our 3yr old for a trip that we knew we would be swimming at the hotel pool. This gave him so much independence and gave us a break from having to carry him the whole time. We stayed close to him and it took him about 5 minutes to figure out how to stay upright by kicking and moving his arms. This is great for a toddler who doesn't know how to swim! Very lightweight and easy to put on. Make sure you pull the buckles tights so it doesn't ride up on their neck. One of the best investments to make the trip safe and easy for us both!

The Stearns Child life vest is very well made and just fit my 33 lb grandchild. It is made for up to 50 lbs, but I don't think that will be true for this life vest. It runs on the small side.

Great buy. Yellow is great because I can spot him very quick. Fits my 22 month old.

This life jacket gave my 3 yo so much confidence that he was swimming in his own the first time he put it on.For reference: he’s about 38 lbs in 4T clothes and there’s still room for him to grow. He’s used it twice and there’s no signs of fraying or ripping

Perfect fit! He weighs 43 pounds with the weight limit on the vest being 50 lbs. My son was comfortable and wore it all day on the boat. No issues at all! Great price point and arrived right on time!

I ordered 2 of these, one for my daughter and one for my son. They wore them 2 days (about 3 hours each day) at the lake last weekend. I put them away today, and noticed that there are holes in the material of jackets and and the product looks like it's been worn for years.
