First time drone flyer or owner. This drone came through and really made the experience highly enjoyable. Very stable in light to moderate winds. Haven't tried it in high winds. Easy to operate. Camera was perfect with ability to easily see forward or downward and scan 360 degree. Easy to start. Make sure you have your GPS set for auto return and it will land you back within 2 ft of takeoff position. 3 batteries for added flying time. I'm 70 years old and this was a new experience for me even though I have always wanted to fly a drone. Easy operation was very important. Love the storage case. Very sturdy. I am very happy and satisfied with the drone. Reasonably priced and quick delivery.

I’ve been using this drone for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed by its performance and reliability. The build quality feels solid yet lightweight, making it easy to transport and durable enough to handle minor bumps. The camera quality is sharp and stable,perfect for producing smooth 4K footage even with a breeze. The GPS and auto-return functions work flawlessly, which gives me peace of mind when flying at longer distances. This drone is so good I wish I could give it 6 or 7 stars. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. We took it to the park yesterday and had a great time flying it around. It was easy to set up and use right out of the box, and the controls were very intuitive. The video quality is great for the price and it feels well made. Definitely a fun and worthwhile purchase, especially as a gift.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this drone. Especially the quality of the photos and videos. It is very stable in flight and hover adding to the media quality. Operation is pretty straight forward. The auto return is your friend and is a safety feature you will come to appreciate. My experience is flight time and battery duration is not as long as stated but part of that could be due to flying conditions such as head wind, etc. Once you are familiar with operation it could be a little faster but generally the speed is sufficient. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is loss of signal that reduces range that results in auto return before mission completion. In my case I believe that this is due to the geographic area I mainly operate in which is heavily wooded with very tall trees making line of site between the drone and the controller difficult. I have overcome this to some extent by using the map feature and flying way-points which seems to allow the drone to operate autonomously. Overall a really good drone for the price point.

The Veeniix Air v11 is a really nice drone for the price point. I am enjoying it and would strongly recommend it. Functionality: The Veeniix Air v11 is feature packed and works absolutely great out of the box. This review is written more from the perspective as a beginner than an expert drone pilot - more advanced users may wish to read other reviews. However, for people just starting, I can report that my son and I have piloted the drone successfully several times within the first week with no problems. The drone and controller, and the controller and my Samsung phone, have both connected easily and without issue. The camera controls work smoothly, and photo and video quality is fantastic (see the photos and videos shared below taken at a university campus.) The feature where the drone automatically circles around a central point worked great. The one-key takeoff and landing, as well as the Return to Home (RTH) features also worked great out of the box. (Note: As the app says, RTH is within a meter or so - do not expect it to pinpoint land right where it took off, but it will get pretty close). So far, we have not used the "Follow Me" feature successfully - but I will research it a bit more and/or contact support, I expect I will be able to resolve that part. Ease of flight: The drone is simple to operate, even for beginners. Having the RTH feature to assist with the landing initially is very helpful. With some practice, our movement and control is becoming smoother. We have chosen good weather conditions and open areas so as to not make things too complicated, but in the attached video, you can see the drone flew easily through a relatively narrow clock tower. Build quality: Following the lead of other popular electronics companies like Apple, Samsung, and Google - Veeniix put a great deal of thought and effort even into the packaging of the product, to give the user an impression of quality from the moment they open it. The high quality continues beyond just the packaging, though - the drone and controller are durable and are packaged with a high quality case. The propellers are much lighter than the previous version, but the quality is still there.

Some of this is going to be written as a comparison to a Ruko F11GIM, a few years older drone that some might be interesting in upgrading from. I was very happy with the F11GIM for a first drone; it's a couple year old and is missing a lot of the features that the V11PRO has. I'm putting my minor issues up front so you can address them when you buy it; neither of these are showstoppers and might not even affect you. My only minor gripe so far about it is the cable connection from the controller to my phone. The cables that come with it don't have a lot of depth in the connector so if you have a thick case on your cell phone like an otterbox defender, it won't work with the case on unless you get an extension or removing your case. Drone supports up to 128gig on that; and you can format it while flying...ask me how I know. Also, on the cable, there's another USB-c port on the bottom of the controller; this appears ONLY for charging so you can't connect there to the phone. Ok, one more super minor gripe. I would like the Veenix Fly app to remember that I have the V11PRO (or last used drone) instead of defaulting to the V11 every time I start it. The Ruko Drone app did the same. Super minor though. OK, on to the meat... First flight today, it was pretty gusty and the V11PRO had no problem with it at all; steady winds about 10 but a fair amount of gusts. I was pretty happy with how fast it reacted to gusts even when it was doing a return to home routine. Controller feels pretty good for size and the clip to hold the cell phone is pretty robust. I really liked having the speed and altitude data shown on the controller. There was no lag in taking pictures or starting/stopping video from the controller or app. The live feed to the cell phone also felt very responsive. Performance wise, it's fairly quiet, especially compared to the F11GIM. I was a little concerned about the props not being hinged, but I really don't have anything to back that up. Many drones have solid props now...I don't know that hinged really help if you fly it into a tree anyway. The drone did come with a spare set. I'll order another set because I like to have a few in the box just in case. Battery performance seems pretty good; I flew for about 30 min total; a bunch of shorter flights, and it only went down one bar. I do see having a dedicated charge pack for the controllrer though, for those extended, multi-battery, flight days. Do note, that these drone batteries are designed to discharge themselves if they haven't been used in a while so if you plan to use the drones, top them off the day before otherwise they might be down to 50% charge by design. One other thing on batteries, they look just like the F11GIM batteries, but they're not quite the same size so you can't interchange them. I was real happy with the landing and for that matter, the ground sensing. When landing, the props cut power immediately when touching down; the F11GIM had a fairly significant hesitation here even though you were holding down stick. The automated return to home worked well repeatedly, in gusty conditions. Make sure you set the home location each time before flying so you don't accidentally send it half way across the country. Also, don't forget you can tweak return altitude in the app. I'm a fan; pretty solid value.

The V11Mini 4k came packed like it was shipping the crown jewels—foam cutouts, labeled bags, cables for everything. The instructions were clear, though I treated them more like suggestions than rules. Even so, setup was a breeze. At the park, we had 20+ mph wind gusts, which is usually drone kryptonite. But this little guy held its position like it had something to prove. The controls were intuitive — smooth throttle, responsive yaw, and a camera that takes good pictures and videos. Battery life was solid, connection never dropped, and it didn’t drift off towards Kansas in these winds. For the price, it feels stable, reliable, and way fancier than it has any right to be. If you’re new to flying, this thing will make you look like you know what you’re doing. 5 stars!
