Couldn’t ask for more; I’ve used these on occasion for about a year now and they haven’t let me down.

Recently someone decided they needed my generator and scaffold ladder worse than I did...BUT... I had used these to stamp my name and address into the metal parts of everything that was taken. A friend of mine found my ladder for sale at a yard sale 30 miles away and a few other things that had been stolen and called the police, then me. The idiot that had stolen it was selling everything from multiple burglaries in the area at a yard sale ( he probably stole the yard too ) most of my stuff was recovered BECAUSE of these stamps! Like the old saying goes, " Smart criminals don't get caught, they get elected and THEN get caught. " Before you use them, practice on a folded piece of aluminum foil to get the orientation and spacing of the stamps correct, before you actually try to mark something and end up with upside down or backward letters. I do recommend you use a stamp holder, or a pair of pliers to hold them with... one little slip and you are going to wish you had one... so just go ahead and get one.

Missing letters

I have been using these to reorganize the jaws for my milling machine. The metal I've been using them on is 6061 aluminum, and they leave a very clear and precise mark. Precise as in, I the letters come out precise - I myself am not precise, but that's user error.
